Jessica said she and Lennon have friends on the show and she thinks maybe people recognize that in the show. She said they don't want to let it go.
Jon said on the show now they have Baby Charlotte. He said you have to be careful with that. Jessica said they're very conscious of that. She said they ruin your vagina and ruin your life. Lennon said that's not true. Jessica said that they may ruin your vagina. She said that a friend of her's told her not to look at her vagina after giving birth. She said she was told not to do that for months. She said she didn't look at it. She said she still hasn't.
Jon said they had Jason Ellis in there and they had an M&M challenge where they put them in their pouch. He said George Takei was in there for that and he has the most spirit and he's also very out and about. Jessica said he's sucking the marrow out of life. Jon said that's better put than he put it. Jon said George has turned into an activist and he has a play coming out on Broadway this fall. Jon said it's about him being in a Japanese internment camp. Jessica said that's fascinating. Jon said it's a musical and Howard can't stand musicals. Jessica said she didn't expect songs about internment camps. Jon said you can make a musical out of just about anything.
Jon said George Takei walked through the Brambles in Central Park. The girls said they have heard stories about that. Lennon said she was on a stroll with a friend and they saw some men walking into a dark forest. Jessica said she's pretty sure if you see more than two trees in the city there is someone getting jerked off behind them.
Jon took a call from a guy who brought up the Chris Martin interview and asked if Robin knew she had cancer at that time. He said Howard said something about how he wouldn't know how he'd live without her. Jon said he doesn't know if Howard knew at the time but Howard has said that before. He said they've been working together for over 30 years. Jon said Robin missed only one day of work while she went through all of that. He said it's pretty incredible. Jon said he thinks Jessica and Lennon have a close relationship like that. Jessica said she thinks she's the Howard in that relationship. Jon said Lennon is the Robin. He said they match up very well.
Jon said Chris Martin came in and played piano. He said it has graffiti all over it. He said that he had to play that one. Jon said they had to roll it up there somehow. Jon said Chris talked about what it means to him and they had a really strong interview. Jessica said everyone has heard a Coldplay song while driving alone and cries over it. Jon asked if she's tearing up now. She said she is.
Jon asked if Lennon is into Coldplay too. She said that she likes that he's up and down during his performances. She said that impresses her. They went to break a short time later.

Jon said Howard thinks he has a small penis. Jessica said she doesn't believe that. She asked how many he's seen to compare it to. Lennon said that they look at them in locker rooms and at urinals. Jon said they have had midgets and dwarfs on the show and some of them are well endowed. Jessica said that it's all in proportion. Jessica said that everyone should measure so they know what they're up against.
Jon took a call from a guy who said that George Takei is the gayest man he's ever heard. He said that he remembers when they had George on for the first time and Fake Arnold called in. He said that George went off on him for saying he was going to veto the gay marriage bill. He said George was probably covered in cum in the Brambles. Jon said George does get excited no matter the age. He said he does like to take a peek when he gets a chance. The caller said he hopes he's half as active as George is when he's his age.
Jon said Ronnie is up there too. He said he's probably one of the horniest guys there. He said maybe age is a relative term.

Today's show was over around 11:05am.
Jon went over some of the stuff they played today and brought up Wesley Willis because Doug had a story about him. Doug said he used to buy his albums and played them with friends. He said they used to die laughing at some of the stuff that he'd include in his songs. He said all of his songs were the same. Doug said he was friends with Bobcat Goldthwait who was friends with Nirvana and they got to hear some of Wesley's stuff. He did a song about Nirvana once and they played it for the guys and he sang about Kurt killing himself. He said it ruined the rest of the night. Doug said he met Wesley walking down the street with a girlfriend one night. He said he said hi to Wesley and he liked to head bump people as a greeting. He said he got a head bump and then he head bumped his girlfriend and he had to hear about that the rest of the night. Doug said it was one of those things he did. Doug said he saw Wesley open for other bands. He said he'd turn on his Casio and every song was the same but people loved it.
Jon played a ''What You Need to Know'' about today's Mammary Lane. After that Jon said they have a poll up today too. Rahsaan said they're asking ''Which Wack Packer Would You Bring Back from the Grave?'' and the choices are:
Jon asked Doug who he'd choose. Doug said you want them all to come back but probably Eric the Actor. Jon said he would love all of them back too. He said he'd love to hear Hank and Eric interact. He said maybe they're doing that in the afterlife.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked about Sal and how the process works when someone makes a mistake like he did. Jon said it depends on the situation. He said that someone will do something and they all descend upon them like wolves. He said Sal's awareness is very low so it's easy to talk in front of him. He said he won't pick up on things. He said Sal is clueless and that's what makes him vulnerable. Jon said he's sure he still believes Richard and Howard are closer than they are. Jon said Sal is the first to do it to anyone else so fair game is fair game. Jon spent another minute talking about that and then went to break.

Jon said Rick Springfield just came in. He said that he's in the movie ''Ricki and the Flash.'' Rick said he doesn't usually watch himself in stuff he does but he had to watch this one. He said the movie is really good. He said the music was all recorded live too. He said it's really good. Rick said the script was written by Diablo Cody so it's really good.
Jon said he wanted to comment on him being in True Detective. He said he was good in that. Doug said he's almost unrecognizable in it. Rick talked about doing the show and how he had to do the fight scene with Colin Farrell.

Jon said that today they played that Air Supply infomercial. Jon said he and Gary had seen it and told Howard about it. Jon said it was one of those things that came off really poorly. He said they don't act very well. He said Rick is an actor and he can pull it off but the guys in the band can't. Rick said he knows those guys. He said it's very difficult. He said he did one of those infomercials back in the 80s and it's hard to do. He said they make it look so tacky. Jon asked if that's part of it. Rick said they're all lies. He said they make you talk about songs that you don't even like. Rick talked about how people like ballads and that's what gets people. He said that he has done a few.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he likes True Detective 2 and he wonders what he thinks about the second season. Jon said there is only one episode left. Rick said he can't say anything about the show. He said he had to read for the part and type in a password to even look at the sides. He said he had to write it out by hand. He said they run it like the CIA. He said his character could show up again but you never know.
Jon said people didn't recognize him in the show but they also don't know he's from Australia. Rick said it comes out once in a while. Rick said he does.

He said in the 80s there were more. He said there was one woman who took her jeans and underwear off and then put her jeans back on and threw the panties up on stage.
Doug asked Rick about a show he did in Las Vegas that he saw. Rick said that he took it over from someone else but he had a lot of fun doing it for a year and a half but then he wanted to shoot himself in the head. He said you can get into serious trouble in Vegas too. He said that's why Broadway stars can only do it for a couple of years. He said it's mind numbing to do something over and over. Rick said he was out there and then 9/11 happened and he stayed out there a little longer.
Jon asked Rick about doing ''Jessie's Girl'' over and over. Rick said he's proud of that because he wrote it. He said that's actually a fairly complex song. He said it's not even like a song anymore. He said it's like trotting out your most successful kid in front of aunts and uncles. Jon said he thinks his performance in this movie is something he thinks they'll be hearing about. He said they're actually playing during the film. They spent a little more time talking about that.
Jon asked Rahsaan about the poll and who the winner is. Rahsaan said that Hank won with 46 percent of the vote and Eric the Actor had 41. Jon wrapped up the show after getting in some plugs. They were done around 11:50am.
Today's Mammary Lane was over around 11:10am.
Jon said Richard cries over a lot of stuff so you wonder if it counts if you cry that much. Jon said that Gary got into the crying because his brother passed away. Jon said that he thinks Howard will cry at some point before he leaves there. He said Robin may too. He said he doesn't think Fred will. Rahsaan asked Jon if he cried on the show. Jon said he didn't but they did a similar thing where he has a song that gets to him.
Jon said Rahsaan went to Full Sail just like JD did. Rahsaan said he did. He said it's an interesting place. He said he doesn't advertise that he went there. He said people think it's a sailing school. Jon said a lot of Grammy winners have gone there. Rahsaan said it's not a bad place.
Jon took a call from a guy who said the Mammary Lane special is genius. Jon said they are put together by the fans who make the suggestions for what they want to hear. Jon said some of the segments fall through the cracks and then the fans request them.
Jon took a call from a guy who said his favorite crying is Richard. He said he's so genuine with his crying. He said Howard cried the day Bianca passed away. He said he went to commercial before he went full blown. He said it was a powerful moment on the show. Jon said he thinks that they could pull that but he's pretty sure Howard holds it together when he's doing the show. Jon said he thinks Howard will become more emotional when the show is coming to an end. He said that you may hear him break down a little bit before they're through there.
Jon and the caller talked about Gary crying and how they laughed at that. Jon said that Gary was crying over his brother dying but they were laughing at that. The caller said he feels like with the show family members are off limits in general. He said he knows Howard's daughters are off the table. He said making fun of Gary over that seems kind of strange. Jon said Howard plays the way he wants to play. They went to break a short time later.

Jon said they were talking about the songs that make staff members cry. He said Gary and Artie talked about songs that make them cry. Jon said that Craig must have a few that break people down. Craig said he's trying to think of one now. Jon said certain songs just get to you. Craig said that he was thinking about Spamalot. He said he had to learn to sing a song from that and the words and music are so sad that it made him wonder how he was going to make it through it. Jon said he knows what he means. He said that something happens and you're just crying like a baby.
Jon said they also played the Rodney Dangerfield segment where Jackie paid Rodney back in jokes. He asked Craig if that's a legitimate currency. Craig said that's a heavy line to cross. He said using someone's stuff isn't right. He said that it's like paying in counterfeit money and they pay you back in more counterfeit money. Jon said it made for a great segment on the show. He said if you're borrowing or taking someone's material it's a big no-no. He said he's not sure if Rodney was ever satisfied about that whole thing.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he loves the show. Jon thanked him for that feedback and quickly moved on. Another caller didn't get to his question fast enough so Jon let him go too. He explained that everyone is doing fine and they can just get to their questions.
Jon took another call from a guy who said he went to Full Sail on the West Coast. He said he worked with Paris Hilton for a little while as an intern. He said the level of disgust over Paris was one of the funniest things he's ever heard on the show. Jon said that song was called Drunk Text and Paris was just talking over the music. The caller said he had to deal with her himself. He said he thought it was funny.
Jon said that music is very subjective so there might be some people who like that. Craig said it is subjective. He said giving your opinion on it is fine though. Craig said that BJ Novak told him that you should ''do what you like, keep what they like.'' He said the bottom line is that you do what you like. He said you put yourself out there and not everyone is going to like it. Craig said he had to stop reading reviews. He said he knows they made a good product and hopefully people will enjoy it. Jon said Howard has done that with his show. He said he lucked out and got people who loved the show and connected to it. Jon said The Office never had huge ratings but they did have people who loved the show. Craig said that's why they did the job that they did. Jon gave Craig another plug for his show and went to break after that.

Jon took a call from a guy who corrected him on some things that he said about Jackie the Joke Man and Rodney. Jon had told Craig the wrong story. The caller said Jackie borrowed money from Rodney and Jackie paid Rodney back in jokes. Jon thanked him for clarifying that.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked who on the staff could make Howard cry the easiest and fastest. Jon said that's a good question. He said Fred may be able to do it because he knows how to push buttons like Howard does. Jon said with Gary he thinks he'd try and he'd get eviscerated. Jon said Robin could get to him too. He said maybe JD. Then he said there's no way JD could get to him. He said his money is on Fred and the least likely would be Benjy.
Jon asked Rahsaan if people should be embarrassed by crying on the air. Rahsaan said there's nothing to be embarrassed by. He said that he's trying to think of a song that would make him cry but he can't come up with any. He said there are times that certain sports things can get him tearing up. Jon said there's nothing embarrassing about crying but you will get mocked on the show if you do.
Jon asked Rahsaan what the results of the poll are. Rahsaan said that Sal had 52 percent of the votes. Jon said he can see that. Jon said if you want to see Jimmy Kimmel cry you can tune into his show. Jon thanked Rahsaan for that and got in some plugs before ending the show. They were done around 11:50am.

Jon said it's great when Howard and Robin call each other out on something. He said it always leads to a really entertaining segment. He went to break after that.

Jon took a call from a guy who said that Robin must be an expert at anal if she can self lubricate her's. Jon said he might be right there. He said Robin's anal should be on that list. Jon said there are other things they can vote on with that poll though.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he got so upset with Robin when she was arguing with Artie in the clip the other day. He said she had an attitude in that argument. Jon said that you can get caught up in an argument like that. He said that no one wants to back down from their position in an argument. He said you may come back later and say you weren't right but in the heat of battle no one admits they're wrong.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he hates to change the subject from the Robin thing but he was calling about Scott the Engineer. He said he has one quick point. He said Scott is an easy target. He said the Block Party thing was his idea to begin with. He said then Shuli decided he should get paid more and you can't just do that when they agreed to split it. He said he's not sure Scott ever brought that up and defended himself with that. Jon said once Howard saddles you with something then you're stuck with it. He said sometimes you do it to yourself. He said when it came down to this argument he may have been in the right but people assumed he was wrong. Jon said the bullshit detector is strong there and trying to get out of a lie is something people will focus on. He said maybe Shuli shouldn't have changed the rules and maybe Scott shouldn't have demanded what he did but he shouldn't have lied about the wedding.
Jon took a call from a guy who said it's great to hear how many times Sal can be duped. Jon said he thinks Scott DePace came up with the term ''hyper focused'' and that's what Sal is. He said if he's doing something then that's where his head is at. Jon said Sal remains oblivious to what the prank might be.
The caller also asked if they ever thought about doing a follow up on the Biggest Whore winner to find out if she's still into what she was into. He wondered if they'd do that with anyone else on the show. Jon said that's a good suggestion. He said he'll pass it along to the Howard 101 guys.
Jon said they do have the Stern Files Declassified thing after the Thursday shows so maybe they can get into something like that. Jon let the caller go after that.
Jon took a call from a woman who said that she has a 16 year old son and today was the first time he ever asked her to change the channel when he heard the biggest whore contest. Jon said there have been a lot of topics like that on the show so why is that the thing that got him to change the channel. The caller said she thinks her son was just disgusted listening to it. Rahsaan said that when you're 16 you are at your horniest. He said you don't want to hear that stuff around your parents. The caller said he could have had a hard on, who knows. Rahsaan said no 16 year old is disgusted by that stuff. They went to break after that.
Jon took a call from a guy who had an addition for the Robin poll. He said she's an expert at cleaning yourself up after crapping yourself during a run. Jon said that only happened once so he's not sure she's an expert. The caller said he doesn't know of anyone else on the staff who has done it.
Jon took a call from a guy who said if you get into an argument with Robin and she keeps it going does it end after the show. Jon said it usually ends after the segment on the show. He said Robin won't admit she's wrong about things usually. He said she may keep it going off the air. He said they all do that though.
Jon took a call from a guy who brought up fantasy football and if they're doing a show about it. Jon said there will be one coming up very soon. Jon said there are some people who are upset that they're going to be drafting too early. Jon said he agrees about that. He said that they'll hear from a lot of people like Matthew Berry, Michael Rapaport and more. He said you'll hear controversy like you've never heard before. The caller said a weekly show about it would be great. Jon said he can't give away too much but there will be weekly updates on the show and on 101.
Jon took a call from a woman who said she thought the most likely answer for Robin is ''All of the above'' or ''Everything'' in the poll. Jon said that's a good point. He let her go after that.
Jon asked Rahsaan what the results of the poll are. Rahsaan had the top 3. In third place with 18 percent was ''Wiccan Studies''. Second place was ''Wine'' with 19 percent. Coming in first place was Nutrition with 40 percent of the votes.
Jon got in some plugs and ended the show around 11:50am.
Today's Mammary Lane was over around 11:00am.
Jon asked how you get people to open up. Brett said that it's easier when it's Howard. He said he's a celebrity so the other celebrities feel like they're speaking to a peer. He said the format they have helps too. He said it helps people forget what they're saying. Jon said Howard just wants to have regular conversations with people. He said it doesn't matter who you are. He said that's what he's told him before. Jon said people hear interviews and call into the show saying they like the person being interviewed even though they didn't think they'd like them.
Brett said he did 2500 interviews about Kurt Cobain and he had to answer 2500 questions about Dave Grohl. He said that you're ready to talk about something but Howard will talk about something else and that's great. Jon said the best thing to do is not push to talk about the product you're hawking. Brett got in a plug for ''Montage of Heck'' and said that he could do that and people think they're hawking. Jon said they've already plugged it 3 times now.
Jon had Al play today's ''What You Need to Know'' about today's show. After that Jon asked Rahsaan what they have in the poll today. Rahsaan said they're asking ''What Is Your Favorite Sal Rap Nickname?'' and the choices were:
After that Jon said that Cool the Candy Rapper is hard to beat. Jon said what he loves about those two is that they both believe that they're doing great. He said they believe they can rap. Brett said he tells student film makers that they're not just student film makers but film makers. He said that's what Howard is doing with those guys.
Jon took a call from a guy who said that people talk about how Howard is one of the greatest interviewers and he agrees with that. He said that Howard is asking questions that we'd love to ask those people. He said he thinks that he has the ability to do that and that's what makes him great. Jon said that's a great point. Jon said to be great at it is a challenge. He said Howard does ask the regular questions but it's more than that. Brett said Howard gets to the space between the cracks. He said it's all these things that fall between the pillars of their careers. Brett said that Kurt Cobain's sister worked in their office while they were working on Montage of Heck and he'd ask her questions about what they'd watch on TV and things like that. He said that's what Howard is doing.
Jon said he thinks the guests are getting more when they're interviewed and that's why they like it. Brett said Howard never sets up a sound byte. He said when you do a standard interview you get the same 10 questions every time. Howard seems to avoid those same 10 questions.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he's watched ''Montage of Heck'' like 4 or 5 times. Brett told him to try to see it in a cinema. He said its great to hear it loud like you've never heard it. The caller asked when it's coming out in theaters. Brett said it's coming out today.
Jon said Nirvana has been profiled a lot. He said his documentary hits a lot of places that people weren't familiar with. Jon said he gets into the spaces in between like he was saying earlier. Jon said that has to be a taxing thing for him to get into. He asked how he makes that happen. Brett said he was already a big fan of Nirvana. He said he wanted to tell the story of Kurt's life how he showed it in his art. He said he wasn't just a musician. He said he did all kinds of other things. He said he got access to the material and he went through his art and it all became clear. Jon said an artist has to blossom in a bunch of ways. He said that's what Howard is doing with his painting now.
Brett said that Krist Novoselic said it best when he said Kurt had to create. Brett said this documentary is really from the inside looking out and that's not how all documentaries are. He said it's usually the other way around.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked Brett if he has some favorite moments from the show. Brett said that's a tough one. He said he has favorite characters on the show. He said that he liked his Billy Joel interview and his Elton John interview too. He said he was listening the other day to a Hulk Hogan interview. He said that's a great one because Hulk was talking about his scandal and it was riveting. The caller said Howard really digs deep. They went to break a short time later.

Jon said Jon Stewart was talking about being ready to hang it up in his last interview with Howard. Jon took a call after that and the guy asked if they have heard anything about Jennifer Aniston's wedding. Jon said he hasn't heard anything about it other than what he read in the paper. He said he's sure they'll hear more about it on Monday if he was there. Jon said you'll have to tune in on Monday to find out.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked if they think George Takei went nuts when he hit the Brambles. Jon said he likes that he comes in and talks freely about that on the show. The caller also started going off on George for being put in an internment camp during World War II. Jon let the guy go after little tirade.
Brett said George Takei came in and took his place on the show and it's beautiful. He said that he's inspired them all being able to get it on at 70-something years old. Brett said that he thinks that it's great that he can carry it on like that. Jon said Ronnie is more virile than any 18 year old. Brett said he seems to have had a second awakening.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he thinks that Bobo's number 1 fan status has been removed by what he did. He went on to talk about how Bobo is basing that on how long he's been on the show. He said he thinks that it should move on to someone else like Mariann. Jon asked if Bobo comes back and Howard gives that status back to him, would he be upset. The caller said he would. He said Bobo gave that up when he did what he did. He said someone like Mariann deserves it more than Bobo. Jon said he thinks that would be a tough argument. Jon asked Brett if he's concerned about Bobo. Brett said that this is Jon's territory. He said he'll leave that one to him.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked why Frances wasn't interviewed for the movie. Brett said she was only 3 years old when he died so she didn't have memories about her dad. He said it would be kind of weird to have her talk about her dad for 5 minutes at the end of the film.
Jon asked what the feedback has been about the movie. Brett said it's been pretty great. He said the fans are very protective of the band though. He said Kurt is more than just brought music to our lives. He said he's brought comfort to people. He said they have a kindred spirit in Kurt. He said the support has been amazing. He said even Frances saw it the first time and she thanked him for giving her a couple of hours with her dad. Brett said Krist came to Sundance and saw the film for the first time and then he saw the premiere. He said Krist talked to him for 2 and a half hours about the depiction of Kurt in the third act of the film when they showed the heroin use. He said he understood where he was coming from and he thought maybe they should cut it down. Brett said he doesn't think anyone will be inspired to do heroin by watching the film. He said maybe it'll save a life. Brett said that Krist later thanked him for the film and said it helped him heal. Brett and Jon spent a few more minutes talking about Kurt Cobain and Montage of Heck.
Jon had Rahsaan come in with the results of the poll. Rahsaan said that the winner in poll was Cool the Candy Rapper with 50 percent of the vote. They ended the show around 11:55am.
