Jon asked Jillian if She is in love with Howard. Jillian said She thinks Robin is. She said She does love him too but not in the way... She said She does but She doesn't know him intimately. She said She knows he's a very good person and She loves Beth. She said She'd love to find a man like him. She said he's so evolved. Jon said that is a yes. He said it doesn't mean that She wants to shove Beth out of the way. Jillian said She's not delusional. Jon said neither is Robin but She is in love with him. Jillian said She won't date a guy who doesn't get Howard. She said She did date a guy who was into Howard but that was the one thing they had in common. Jon said She knew She'd have that bond though. Jon asked how She does that and does She ask if they're a huge Howard fan. Jillian said She doesn't have a lot of guys hitting on her. She said She's busy with work and with her kids. Jillian said She has been cast in shows and a movie because of Howard Stern. She said that people just know you're a superfan. Jillian said She knows a producer who She met with years ago and they hit it off at a party. She said that they went on a date and his car radio said ''Howard 100.'' She said She told him that made her so happy.
Jon said Jillian will be there the next 3 days with him. He played a ''What You Need to Know'' about today's show. Jon said they have a poll up today asking which staffer's girlfriend you want to hear more about, JD, Ronnie or Benjy. Jon said he'll have the results by the end of the show today.
Jon asked Jillian which one She wants to hear more about. Jillian said She thinks that Elisa Jordana is great. She said She loves the two of them together. Jillian said She doesn't miss a beat. She said She and JD text a lot and She's happy about JD getting a girlfriend. She said it's like picking a baby. She said that She'll go with Elisa.
Jon asked what She and JD are texting about. Jillian said it's random stuff. She said sometimes JD will comment on a twitpic She puts up or something like that. She said they'll go back and forth joking about dating and things like that. Jillian said She just loves everyone on the show. Jon said they all love her too. They went to break after that.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he doesn't know of any other superfan who has been on as long as Jillian. He said he remembers her sticking up for him for a long time. Jon said Jillian has been vocal about the show for a long time. He asked if She resents the celebs who come aboard or not. She said that She loves it. She said Howard knows She's been there all along. She said that's enough for her. Jillian said that there are so many stars at the Kimmel parties and it's really funny to see. She said the fans who have been there for 20 years sit there wondering what those A-listers are doing there. She said it's all in fun though. Jillian said Howard is just an outlier and a pioneer. She said She recognized that and loved it. Jillian said that so many people get wrong what he says on the air and that's what She would point out on the air.
Jon asked Jillian who gave her the hardest time about being a Howard fan. Jillian said it wasn't on TV so much. She said once She got on radio that's when it came out. Jillian said people diss her over that and She could care less. She said She feels that negativity. Jillian said She knew things were over at her job when they made her take down her Howard Stern poster.
Jillian said that no one has done what Howard has doing 5 hours of radio a day for 30 years. She said he's a master of satire and She's stunned that he was able to keep it going. She said She really respects what Howard has done. She said Bill Maher does one hour a week on a Friday night and Howard is doing 5 hours a day. She said it's genius. She said back in the day Howard was still as entertaining as he is now with Gwyneth Paltrow. She said it's all a party.
Jon said that Chris Rock has said he couldn't do that much per day. Jillian said that Howard has been doing it for 3 decades now.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked Jillian which Wack Packer is her favorite and who She would date. She said Beetlejuice is her favorite to listen to. She said Sour Shoes is amazing too. She said She would date Medicated Pete. Jon said he thinks he just heard Pete dropping stuff to run there after hearing that. Jillian said She and Eric the Actor had a contentious relationship but in the last year She started to get him. She said sadly he is no longer with them. Jon said Ralph is a big Eric fan too. He said they'll talk about what it's like to hang out with Ralph after a break. They went to break after that.

Jon took a call from a guy who said to listen to her on the Wrap Up Show makes it sound like She's been doing it for 30 years. He also said 3 weeks ago he ran into JD in Baltimore at a train station. He said that he's 50 and that kid JD is so nice. He said his girlfriend is cute as can be. Jillian asked what She looks like. Jon said he lost that guy. He said he's not sure how they got disconnected.
Jillian said She'd like to know what JD's girlfriend looks like. She said She wants to know more about that. Jon said he wants to talk about Ralph too. Jon said he went out with his wife, Ronnie and his girlfriend and JD and his girlfriend. Jon said JD's girlfriend is fantastic. He said She rolls with stuff and he couldn't be happier for JD. Jillian said that's awesome.
Jillian said She ran into JD at a party in L.A. once and he really doesn't talk a lot. She said he is very quiet. She said She used to think JD hated her. She said She used to hang out with Sal and Richard and JD would just kind of mumble when She'd say hi. She said She knows he doesn't hate her but it's just part of his personality.
Jon said he wants to talk about the Ralph segment that they played today. Jon said Ralph is a mess at times. He said they have gotten into it at times but they are friends. Jon said that if he wanted to pick 3 people to hang out with Ralph is one of them. He said he's fantastic to hang out with. Jillian said he is a great hang. She said that She did hang out with Ralph and Robin once at a party. She said She had the best time with Ralph. She said they cut his hair with toenail clippers. She said that's a story you don't want to ask about. Jillian said they had all kinds of food ordered that they never even got to. She said She loves hanging with Ralph. Jillian said She remembers that story when it broke. Jillian said She remembers how bent out of shape Sal got that Jon was invited to that party too.
Jon asked if She thinks Sal is over that whole thing with Howard and going to his apartment. Jillian said he will never get over that. She said he just loves Howard that much. She said She gets it. Jillian said Sal gets all worked up when he finds out that someone on the periphery gets invited to something. She said that whole story was so great today.
Jon said he has the results of their poll. He asked someone named Rahsaan to read the results of the poll for today. He ran down the list of people whose girlfriend people want to know more about. Rahsaan said that Benjy got 5.8 percent of the vote, Ronnie got about 10 percent and JD came in with 83.7 percent. Jon wrapped up the show after that. They were done around Noon.
Today's special was over around 11:30am.
Jon said he was talking to some of the guys yesterday. He said they love Jillian. He said Sal really loves her. He said some people are put off by Sal but not Jillian. Jillian said she loves Sal and Richard and she hopes she can find a relationship like they have some day. Jillian said she used to do the weather on Good Day L.A. and she would throw in references from the show all the time. She said the Stern Fans loved it. Jillian said she loves Sal's persona. She said she loves that he's pussy whipped but working on it. She said the two of them together are genius. She said the Tradio calls in particular are great. She said she got to sit in and see how they do it one day.
Jon said when Jillian was on the show she talked about some of her fantasies. Jon said that Sal has talked about how he likes pee porn and things like that. He asked Jillian if it excites her in a way or does it make her think he's nuts. Jillian said she's not sure she could be married to him. She said Sal and Richard don't gross her out at all though. She said she finds them so entertaining. Jillian said it doesn't affect her. She said she has pissed off a lot of people on her show. She said she's used to that. She said she's pissed of a husband and pissed off FOX too.
Jon said Sal is honest to a point that he doesn't realize he'll get in trouble for half the stuff he says. Jillian said she loves Sal. She said she couldn't wait to see him at the birthday bash.
Jon played a ''What You Need to Know'' about today's show. After that he said they have a poll up today asking which staff member has the best tattoo out of Howard, Robin, Fred or Ronnie. Jillian said that she would say Robin because she had dinner with her the day she got it out there in L.A. Jillian said it was a great night and Robin had just gotten a tattoo that day.
Jon said Howard was skeptical about getting a tattoo at first. He said now he has more than one. Jillian said they're sexy. She said Howard is very well thought out about things like that. She said that she got the tattoo on her wedding ring finger for her wedding. She said she met her birth sister one day and did Howard's show that day too. She said that she met her birth sister and she told Howard about how she was going to get a tattoo that was designed by her sister. She told the story about how she found out about her sister that she hadn't met.
Jon said some people aren't in the most sober state when they get a tattoo. He said he's not sure if Gary will ever do it but he does talk about it. Jillian said that she has Howard's face tattooed on her back and most people don't know about that. Jillian said she can imagine Sal and Richard getting them but not JD. She said she never thought Howard would have one.
Jon said that he does not have one. He said Sal does. He has one of his kids. He doesn't think Richard has one. He said you'd think he would. He said JD does not have one but he thinks he could be talked into getting one. Jon said he thinks Benjy has religious reasons for not getting one.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked Jillian about being a superfan and how she professes her love for the show. He asked if it puts people off when they find out she is a fan. Jillian said she wouldn't give those kind of people the time of day. She said she does radio now and there are people who are on radio who are jealous and talk about what a sham his first marriage was and she thinks they're really petty about that kind of stuff. She said Howard has been with Beth for a long time now. She said that people just don't get it. Jillian said if she had a Howard Stern in her life she would do her best. She said she thinks he'd be a great boyfriend. She said there aren't many guys out there like Howard.
Jon said 99 times out of 100 if he's talking to someone who is telling him why they hate Howard they have never heard the show. He said they have heard things from other people about Howard. He said that it's rare when you hear someone who listens and says they don't like him. Jon wondered how you can tell if someone is a fan. Jillian said the fans have their own language. She said they get it. Jillian said there is an understanding. Jillian said she dated a guy who was a fan and they could talk for hours about Howard. She said she hasn't dated a superfan like that since. Jillian said people who know her in L.A. know she's a huge fan. She said Dr. Drew is a major superfan of the show too. She said that he told her he'd love to co-host the Wrap Up Show too. Jon said he is on the list to co-host. Jon said they had to take a break after that.
Jon mentioned the poll they have up today and then took a call from a guy who asked if they think Howard being a germaphobe makes him apprehensive to get inked up. Jon said yes. He said there is no doubt in his mind about that. He said once he got the first one and he was conformable then he was able to move forward with more. He said he won't even shake hands with people. Jillian said there are so many things that can happen and she thinks it went through his mind too. Jillian said that Howard's first one was the B on his finger and it didn't fall off.
Jon asked Jillian if she goes right up to Howard and hugs him when she sees him. She said of course she does. She said she loves that. She said it's not even about him at that moment. It's all for her.
Jillian said that Howard Stern is the biggest name in radio and even her bosses at KABC love it when she's on. She said that Howard is an outlier and they recognize it. She said it's a cool thing now. Jon said he thinks Howard's movie was a turning point for him. Jon said that he didn't just do the nudity and cursing thing. Jon said there is some of that in there but it's really a love story.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he was calling about King of All Blacks. He said he is the most annoying person to call the show. Jon asked Jillian if she agrees. Jillian said she enjoys it when he gets into it with other black people. She said he is non-stop. She said she loves it when he calls in because he wants to be a part of the show and thinks he's better than other people. She said he fascinates her. Jon said he did finish second behind Bobo in the most annoying caller poll. He said he does get a reaction out of people. Jon said he's not his least favorite or most favorite but he does get things going on the show.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked Jillian about playing trivia along with Natalie Maines. Jillian talked about playing trivia with a few people but Natalie is really good. Jon said she listens 24/7 and backs up her opinions. Jon said his contest would be between Jillian, Natalie and Ike Barinholtz. Jon said they would be able to really battle it out. Jon said they had to take a break after that.
Jon took a call from a woman who said she misses Eric the Midget. She said that he was so little and had the biggest balls. Jon said one of the many things you had to like about Eric is that he was unphased by everything. He said he was so ungrateful and entitled. He said he's a little guy in a wheelchair with a condition that eventually killed him. Jillian said that Howard made it a sane conversation and it was the best ever.
Jon said the other thing about the show are the musical performances. He said that you can always count on something going wrong before the song begins. Jillian said today was a disaster and it was the best radio ever. She talked about how the whole Yes segment went where Howard yelled at Scott and at Tom Chiusano. Jillian said she was peeing her pants laughing at all of that. She said she remembers Howard talking about how perfect things were on radio and TV and how he heard someone drop something in the background and how he wanted the show to be like that to expose it. Jillian said that if you fast forward to what they do today it's brilliant. She said that when the Foo Fighters did ''Everlong'' acoustically it was brilliant. She said that it was like magical for her when she heard that.
Jon said he's a big Yes fan and you want to hear a great version of a song and then you just hear a complete disaster. She said it was great on the radio but it was a disaster. Jillian said people were yelling and Howard was pissed off and it was awesome. She said it gives you the inner workings of the show. Jon said he's still working on getting Rush in there. He said he has to work on Howard to agree to it though. Jillian said they did get the Black Keys on the Birthday Bash. Jon said that it was an inside joke they had going on with that whole thing.
Jon had Rahsaan come in with the poll results. He said Robin had only 6 percent of the votes. Howard had 20 percent. Fred came in second with 31 percent and Ronnie came in first with 44 percent of the vote.
Jon got in some plugs for today's Sternthology and for Jillian's show on KABC which is on from 3-6. Jon ended the show around 12:15pm.

Jon talked about the Little Mikey and Psych battle today. Jillian said that Eli Braden is genius too. She said that Mikey and Psych pump them out like crazy though. Jon played a ''What You Need to Know'' about today's show. Jon said that they also have a poll up today asking who your favorite Robin song parody guy is. Jon said they'll have the results at the end of the show.
Jon said that when people come in for an interview they need to be open for a good one. He said that's what they get with Billy Corgan and Sarah Silverman. Jillian said she thinks people go on and want to please Howard. She said the last Billy Corgan interview was great. She said Sarah is always great and so open and fun. She said she never seems anxious or like she's trying to please too hard. Jillian said she's very open and honest.
Jon said he thinks Sarah has glammed up a bit over the past few years. Jon said that he'd like to get her boyfriend Michael Sheen on the show. He said he seems to have a good sense of humor. Jillian said she's always been gorgeous and downplays her looks but she has polished up a bit. Jon said she was also wiling to sniff Richard Christy's balls.
Jon said that Howard really loves Billy Corgan and his music. Jillian said that she finds him fascinating. She said what's great about that interview is the stories behind the Courtney Love and Sharon Osbourne things. She said Billy says straight up that he has respect for Howard and vice versa. She said that Billy said if Howard asks he will answer.
Jon said you do have to be honest but also up front about things. He said that a lot of actors and musicians need to side step a question. He said Howard will call bullshit on them when they do.
Jillian said she had a friend who was going to be on the show and he told her that he was nervous because he was afraid of the questions he might ask. Jillian said she told him that if Howard keeps going it can get worse so you just have to give in and answer. Jon said they had to take a break after that.

Jon took a call from a guy who said he thinks that both Psych and Little Mikey are great but Psych takes the cake when it comes to production. He said that his songs are so much clearer and better sounding. Jon said that some of the worst sounding songs are some of the best though. He said Ham Hands Bill did one years ago that sounded really bad. The caller said when you're listening while rolling down the road you hear the quality difference and it just sounds better. He said it makes you enjoy them more and remember them. Jon said he thinks that he's right about how Psych is tough to beat.
Jon took another call from a guy who said he thinks Psych is a better singer too. He said Mikey doesn't have that quality for him. He also asked Jillian if she would smell Richard Christy's balls if it wasn't already done. Jillian said she would. She said she's game. Jillian said she was jealous of Sarah for getting to do that. Jon said he's sure she could get in the mix if she wanted to.
Jon took a call from a woman who said she is sending a big kudos to Jillian. She said it's nice to have a female in the sausage fest. She said that she has never called into a show but she had to do that for Jillian. She said she likes a chick who knows her shit. The caller also said she doesn't know if she's in the demographic or not. Jillian said she thinks that there are plenty of lesbians who listen. She and the caller spent a minute talking about what kind of lesbian she is.
Jillian said she loves when women call into the show. She said she remembers hearing calls years ago and she'd be jealous. She said a lot of her best friends are women.
Jon took a call from a woman who said she thinks Jillian is great on the show. Jillian thanked her for that. The caller said that no one admits to listening to Howard where she works. Jillian said that's the way it used to be but not so much these days. Jillian said she thinks AGT has helped with that too. The caller said in New York it's not so undercover but out there it is. Jillian said she talked about him on a daily basis on Good Day L.A.
Jon asked the caller if she wanted to weigh in on the Little Mikey vs. Psych thing. The caller said they're both great. She said Psych tries to imitate the voice of the singer of the song. She said that makes it funny but then Mikey is so affected but he doesn't have a great voice. She said that they're both great but different.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he thinks Mikey is funnier but Psych might be more talented musically. He said they're both funny. Jillian said she doesn't care so much about the singing but about the lyrics. She said that they're all talented and they have their own way of doing things. Jon said that he misses the old piano theme for Robin. He said it's all a great mix. They had to take another break after that.

Jillian told Jon that when the Kardashian reality show came out they had story lines that they'd follow. She said that they didn't have to tell Kelly, Jack, Ozzy and Sharon what they had to do. She said she thinks a lot of reality shows are the furthest thing from reality. Jon said he agrees but that doesn't mean you can't watch it if you enjoy it.
Jillian said that Sharon is one of the biggest ball busters out there. She said she is such a mama bear. Jon said that you can't push her around. He said that's what made her such a great manager. Jillian said she had a talk show out there and she had her on with her birth mom and sister. Jillian said that Sharon is no bullshit.
Jon took a call from a woman who said she loves hearing an educated woman who is in love with Howard as much as she is. She said that she's a lawyer and she sits in her car until it's time to go to court. She said she sees other people doing the same thing. The caller said it freaks her out that people don't know how great the show is. She said that she is shocked that more people don't know that women are listening. Jillian said she used to say the same thing on the air every day. Jillian said that people who don't listen don't know what they're missing.
Jon said he felt that the AGT thing helped get the word out there. He said he thinks that it's become much more widely accepted to listen to the show. He said he is very happy for him because he's getting the due that he's long deserved. Jon said as he winds down a little bit he's still getting it while he's in the game. Jon said now is the time to come out and say you love listening.
Jon said there will be a day when Howard won't be there. Jillian said she refuses to even hear that. She said she panics when she thinks about that. Jillian said she can cry just thinking about it. Jillian said Howard has been a part of her life for 25 years now.
Jon said that Howard also got the Best Hair award too. Jillian said she wants to say that the guy who tweets at her that his hair is a wig is an idiot. She said she has run her fingers through it and it is real.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he'd love to hear some celebrities getting involved with the song parodies. He said they used to do that when guests would come in. Jillian said she was supposed to do one with Eli Braden a while back but things didn't work out. She said she's still up for that.
Jon said that he wanted to talk about Robin prepping for Jeopardy. Jon said when it gets to it Robin just can't hit the buzzer on time. He said it's difficult when you're on those shows to deliver. He said Robin has the knowledge but she can't deliver when it comes to show time. Jillian said Howard is such a champion of Robin and she loved when they would do the run throughs. She said that it's got to freak you out a bit when you're doing it for real.
Jon said Howard and Robin have gotten closer on the air over the years. Jillian said she remembers seeing Robin on a show talking about the Selena killing and defending Howard. She said that she was new to listening to the show and she knew that Robin had his back. She said seeing that grow over the years is wonderful.
Jon said Robin called out Linda Ronstadt on the Tonight Show once too. Jillian said she was so proud of Robin for that.
Jon said he has Rahsaan there to give the poll results. Rahsaan said that it was a super tight race today. He said just edging out the other guy with 51.4 percent of the vote was Psych. Jillian said there is room for everyone. She said she was pulling for Mikey. Jon said he thinks he would vote for Mikey based on his goofy voice but they both do a great job.
Jon wrapped up the show and got in some plugs for today's Sternthology and some plugs for Jillian as well. They were done around 12:15pm.

Jon played a ''What You Need to Know'' about today's show. He said he wanted to talk about Jackie saying he didn't care about the money in the basketball game, he just cared about beating Howard. Jon said they have a poll asking about that and if people think Jackie would admit he made a mistake leaving the show.
Jon said that when Jackie did leave they had some great comedians sitting in. He said Artie eventually came and sat in for as long as he did. Jon said that today is the anniversary of the announcement that Jackie left the show. Jon said it was the end of an era for the show. Jillian said everyone is replaceable other than Howard. She said Robin and Fred aren't replaceable either. She said Artie has been gone for years. She said she loved Artie but the quality of the show is still up there.
Jon said Gary may wonder if he's part of that conversation too. He said he can't imagine the show without Gary being there. Jillian said Gary is the glue of the show. She said Gary was such a punching bag 25 years ago. She said he has evolved over the years and he's so appreciated. She said that Howard knows his value there. She said she thinks Gary knows it too. Jillian said that everyone used to hold on to grudges on the show. She said Gary would hang on to it but now things just roll off their backs. She said she loves that it makes the show move. She said they are a family and it's so obvious and it comes out on the air that way. She said it is a fucked up family but it is a family. Jon asked what family isn't fucked up. Jon said they all get along pretty well there and he thinks that they all have each other's backs there. Jon said that's what matters.
Jillian said she loves when Ronnie goes in with his attitude. She said the same thing about JD. She said everything seems to roll off his back too. She said that Howard really loves JD. Jon said he does.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he loved it when Howard would bust Tom Chiusano's balls. He asked if it was real. Jon said he didn't work for the show back then. He said Tom filled that role of the management foil. He said he thinks he was hated at times. Jillian said when Howard had an adversary it was great radio. She said that Howard has evolved and the interviews are unbelievable now. She said that she agrees with the caller about Tom. She said that Tom seemed to get it and went along with it. She said Howard used to tell him he wished he'd die from the cancer he had. She said no one does that kind of thing to their boss.
Jon said Howard has gotten millions of people to pay to listen to him. He said you have to respect that. Jillian said that she's not sure how Howard deals with Sirius bosses now. She said people in power never want to give credit where it's due though. Jon said they had to take a break after that.

The caller said he did kind of say it sarcastically. Jillian said she didn't listen to the Joke Hunt. She said it takes balls to leave the show on your own accord and then come back and do a show on one of the channels to be part of it. Jillian said if they asked her to come back to her old workplace she's not sure she could. Jillian said it has to be tough. Jon said he was glad to hear Jackie on doing his thing on 101 while he was there.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he loved the Billy West years. He asked what his relationship is with the show. Jon said he's not sure where that's at right now. He said that he is welcome to come back at any time. He said that it did mark the end of an era for the show. He said the show does evolve though. He said Howard is doing great interviews now. He said that Howard wants people on their toes and not hearing the same thing. He said that what you will get is Howard on the mic, Robin doing the news and Fred doing the sound effects.
Jillian said Billy West is a genius. She said she loved those years. Jillian said that the Jackie Puppet shows were so great. She said they're still golden shows. She said that it was like that with Gilbert Gottfried when he'd come on too. She said she really misses Billy on the show. Jon said they did have a little bit of him on doing Howard's mom this morning.
Jon asked Jillian about Howard's parents and how things have changed for them over the years. Jillian said that they have settled down over the years and she thinks they know their son is settled in now. Jillian said that she almost cried when she heard Howard say that his dad was his inspiration. She said that it goes back that far in his life. She said it has to bring such pride to Ben that his son has done so well.
Jon asked about how many traits of Howard's dad Howard has taken on as he's gotten older. Jillian said that he has a lot of his dad in him and it must be tough for Beth. She said she thinks his father has rubbed off on him in many ways.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked about where the clapping all came from on the old shows. Jon said that it was probably the Think Tank back in Washington DC. He said it eventually stopped after the morning zoo kind of shows took off. Jillian said that she loves that Howard can see the end of that and move on. She said the calm radio is just as funny and just as entertaining and energetic. Jillian said she hears the old shows and you realize how much the show has changed. She said that Howard admits he had a huge ego and no one does that. She said Howard talks about how much better he could have done. Jon said they had to take another break after that.

Jon said things can get crazy back in the office for them when the heat or cold is off. He said that Howard was complaining about the clanging of the pipes in his apartment and he has a knack for finding people who either don't do the job right or maybe they do and Howard still complains.
Jillian said it reminds her of when Ray and Ben had their heat out and they made the prank call with their voices. She said she could listen to that for hours. Jillian said for the listeners that stuff is funny. She said Howard is at his best when he's bitching. She said she can only imagine what goes on in the office there. She said Scott must poop his pants when Howard gets upset about something.
Jon said they were talking about Gary earlier. He said Gary knows that the audience loves that stuff and he takes the bullet. He said you know when you go in there that you're going to get yelled at. He said that you have to fight through that for yourself and for the audience.
Jillian said that Gary is so calm during a catastrophe. She said that some of the Eric the Actor drama was handled so calmly. She said Gary was the one handling him and she loves how he has evolved. She said he handles things so professionally. Jon said he agrees.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he loves that Jillian is on the show. He said he's not sure what took so long to get her on the show. Jillian thanked him for that. She said she thinks there are a lot of other celebrity superfans out there. She said she doesn't even like saying ''celebrity'' in that. She said she's just a superfan.
Jon took a call from a guy who said he doesn't think that High Pitch Eric is retarded at all. He said he has all kinds of things going on with him. He said he weighs 300 pounds and he continues to work even though he has cancer. He said he thinks Eric uses the retarded card to get through life easier. Jon said it does take some level of cunning to pull off what he pulls off. He said he doesn't think he's pretending to be retarded though. He said there are some smarts there and he thinks that he has done some smart things where he's gotten people to pay or him to do stuff. Jillian said that he is cunning and also a strange and interesting person. She said she's not retarded but maybe awkward socially.
Jon said they have the results of the poll about Jackie and if he would admit that he made a mistake. Rahsaan was there with the results and said they think ''no'' Jackie will not admit it. He said 76 percent of the votes were for no. Jillian said that when she left Good Day L.A. they asked her if she wanted to come back for 2 days a week and she said no. She said she's glad she did because the ratings were lower. She said it has to be hard for Jackie though because the show just got bigger.
Jon got in a plug for today's Sternthology where they'll be replaying the segment where Howard announced Jackie had left the show. They finished up the show around 12:05pm.
Today's special was over around 11:20am.
Jon said he believes that Sal is sincere in his beliefs. Jillian said she thinks he believes everything that he talks about. She said that she did a segment on celebrity ghost stories and she believes Sal. She said she's never been read by a psychic but she has seen weird things and apparitions and things like that. Jon said Howard says it's total bullshit. Jon said he thinks you want to see it and then you believe it. Jillian said she had an experience as a kid and she does believe. She said Sal is so sincere about everything and she thinks that stuff does happen as crazy as that sounds.
Jon took a call from a guy who said it doesn't get any better than Sal and Richard. He said he has laughed out loud at work at those two and gotten in trouble. He said that today's story about Sal's grooming was great. He said one half is that and the other is the way he describes things he does. Jillian said it's brilliant. The caller said it's awesome.
Jillian said that Sal is so particular and he's so honest. She asked who shares that kind of thing. She said that it's fantastic. She said it's Sal and Richard for her on the show. She said Howard is first and then Sal and Richard. She said that Richard is way more laid back about things. Jon said that what he does is kind of feminine. He said the raccoon eyes thing really got to him. Jillian said everyone has issues with their bodies. She said that she respects that. Jillian said she's not sure she could date a guy who spends more time than her in the bathroom though. They went to break after that.

Jon took a call from a guy who said he thought it was hilarious that Howard made it all about himself even though Helen was the one who went up to the guy to help. He said he loved that he told her that she wasn't the hero, he was the hero.
Jillian said that Howard didn't know this was going to happen. She said he was able to entertain that guy and the audience at the same time. She said he's taking each moment and owning it. She said that's why he is the King of All Media. She said that Howard makes it funny and has a positive outcome from it.
Jon said those moments are the best. He said it's like the Benjy and Perez Hilton thing. Jon said that you're listening along with Howard and hearing it happen. Jon said that it can get pretty dramatic when you hear the bridge thing. He said he feels that's when the show is at its best. Jillian said Howard makes it all so fun and you're just along for the ride.
Jon took a call from a guy who asked if there was ever a follow up about that. Jon said there was and they will play that on Sternthology today. Jon thanked him for the segue into that.
Jon took a call from a guy who said that he has had moments where Howard has been a moment of light to him. He said that he is very important. He said that he can say anything and that means you can say anything to him. He said it's really rare to have that trust with someone like that. The caller said he thinks that Howard is open to spiritual growth now and he thinks that he'd be more open to the spiritual thing now. He was talking about going to a psychic and things like that. Jillian said she wishes she could do that. She said Howard did admit he prayed during Robin's sickness. She said that she was crying all over again after hearing about that. Jon said nobody knows what's going on out there. Jon said he thinks psychics are bullshit like Howard does.
Jillian said that Sylvia Brown is someone Sal likes. She said that Sylvia Brown had the balls to tell the mother of the three kids who were kidnapped that her kids were gone. She said that they were kidnapped and stuck in a basement for 30 years. They came back 30 years later and the mother died thinking that they had died.
Jon took a call from a woman who said her daughter was dying and she had to drive an hour to the hospital every day. She said Howard was the one thing that took her mind off of things. She said he is the best and she loves him. Jillian said that your mind goes crazy and the show can be an escape. Jillian said she has been through some shit the past couple of years and she would listen to Howard and that was her 5 hours of tuning out and just laughing. Jon said Robin went through her cancer treatments and did the show every day. He said she only missed like one day of work. Jon said that was Robin's escape doing the show. Jon said Howard is the glue that gets people through their day.
Jillian asked the caller how her daughter is doing now. She said she's doing great. They were happy to hear there was a happy ending to that. They went to break a short time later.

Jillian said that this shows it's not all just white truck drivers listening to the show. She said that it is impressive how long Howard has been doing this. She said that Howard has kept himself in the forefront and he's in the news more now than ever. She said that if Howard does an amazing interview with someone they have to piggyback on his interview and give him credit. She said that's what she loves so much.
Jon said that there are a lot of people who grew up listening to Howard and they're running some of those programs.
Jon took a call from Sour Shoes who was doing his Dan Aykroyd impression for a second. He went into his Gary impression too. Jillian said Sour called her at FOX and he's her favorite. She asked him to talk to her as Gary. Sour did his baby voice and then went back into his Gary voice. Sour was all over the place doing voices and playing music in the background. Jon let him go after a minute of that. Jillian said that was a great way to end her week there. She said that he goes from personality to personality and it's so amazing. She said that he is so quick. Jon said he is one of the most talented people he's ever met. He said he is out of his mind but in a good way. Jon said he's got a great memory for the show.
Jon said they have the results of the poll. Jillian asked if she can take a guess at the results. She said she thinks that the audience will say it's all bullshit. Rahsaan said that she's right and 75 percent of the people say that it's all bullshit. Jillian said that she and Sal are in the 25 percent of believers. Jon got in a plug for today's Sternthology. Jon gave Jillian a plug for her show that's on KABC in L.A. and ended the show around 11:55am.
