Howard finally made it back and said they had to reboot something to get back on. He said he has to do the same with his TV. He said he was watching ''Zero, Zero, Zero'' on Amazon and his TV started giving him messages that the signal was going in and out. He said he spent so much money on that audio system. He said within a week he was being told it was old equipment. He said he went all in on that audio/video in his house. He said he has had the worst time of it.
Howard said he has been keeping his fingers crossed with the TV but he has to reboot them every day. He said he's praying the washing machine holds up during quarantine. He said he's thinking it's going to go 18 months and they're only one month into it. He said he went to his house on March 12 and he hasn't seen anyone since. He said they bought a Roomba vacuum and he got annoyed with it. He said there were no directions for it. He said it's a robot that vacuums your house. He said it's out of the Jetsons. He said it's like something from the 1960s. He said it does a damn good job of it. Robin said she was going to ask about it today. Howard said he had a Great Garloo robot when he was a kid and it was nothing like a robot. He said this thing is like a real robot. He said it's crazy. Robin said it remembers where it was. Howard said he has an app with it and he had no information with it. He said some of his directions must have been thrown out.
Howard said he called the help line with the Roomba and got someone there to help. He said there's nothing clear online about it. He said he was going to bash them on the air but once it was set up it was fine. He said he got it set up in seconds. This Roomba comes out of its base and maps out the room. He said he figures things out in the room. He said you're supposed to name it but he won't do it. He said Beth is in love with this thing. He said it was cleaning and doing it better than anyone. He said this thing is mind blowing. Robin said she never thought it would work.
Howard said he and his wife sat in the room with Roomba and watched it. He said he thinks it may be fucking with his TV though. He said he can control it right now and tell it to vacuum upstairs. Robin said she heard you can tell it when to do it. Howard said this thing was taking like an hour and a half to clean the room. He said he went for a walk and it got stranded and didn't make it back to its base. He said the thing knows how to get over the rug that it gets caught on. He said whoever invented this thing is a genius.
Robin said vacuuming is horrible. She said she has to get a Roomba. Howard said Beth broke the vacuum within the first week. He said she ripped it out of the wall and it cracked.
Howard said Roomba is amazing. He said you have to carry it upstairs. He said they're just using it for the bedroom right now. He said the cats are petrified of it though. He said their cat Pebble will attack anything but she headed for the hills when she saw this thing. He said Helen is fearless but even she wouldn't come into the room. He said she freaked out and fell out of his arms so he thought he hurt her.
Howard said their carpet sparkles now. He said he loves having a robot. He said he never thought he'd have a robot. He said they say they have a Roomba for your lawn too. He said it's not made by Roomba though. He said his mind was blown by this thing.
Howard said this thing docks itself in a base and then it empties the bag. Robin said she has to get one. Howard told her to pick up cat toys and stuff or it'll pick them up. He said if you don't see Fred today it's because he got picked up by Roomba.
Howard took a call from a guy who said he got one of these things a couple of weeks ago. He said he named his ''Girlfriend.'' Howard said he thinks of his as a dude. The caller said he has one of those lawn mower things that mows by itself. He said that's what he considers the dude.
Howard said this thing got caught on the rug and it got over it itself. He said it never gets stuck. The caller said that if it does get stuck it will notify you on the app.
Howard said he didn't name his Roomba. He said he could do that right now. He said the only problem is that the cats are freaked out by it.
Howard asked JD if he has a Roomba. JD said he has a knock off of it but it's not as good. Howard asked if it has a docking station. JD said they do but you have to empty it themselves. Howard said that blows. JD said he has to constantly kick the thing to get it moving again.
Howard said they have a vase on a stand and the Roomba encountered it and it figured out how to get under it and clean it. He said they also have a skirt on the bed and the Roomba figured out how to deal with that. He said it went under and cleaned and then came out before it was done. then it went back under and finished. He said this thing is great.
Robin said she has this big vacuum and it practically sucked a rug into itself. She said she had to stop vacuuming. Howard said this was the highlight of his month. He said he had Beth come in to watch this thing work.
Robin said she had to figure out how to use her washing machine. She said she didn't know where to put the detergent so she had to figure it out online. Robin said on the dryer it figures out by itself that the laundry is dry. She said that's amazing to her.
Howard got fake Donald Trump on the phone and talked to him about what's going on lately. Fake Donald sounded kind of down according to Robin. Fake Trump said that FOX is acting like CNN lately. He said they're not grading him properly like they should be.
Trump said no one can do a better job than him. Howard asked how he knows. Trump compared himself to Obama during the Swine flu and other things. He said they're doing a better and tougher job than Obama or Bush ever did. He said they're turning a huge problem into a success story. He said he thinks this might be the Chinese and the Democrats teaming up against him by creating this virus.
Howard asked Trump how Melania is doing. Trump said she's a great first lady. He said she's got great talent and she's a great role model. Trump said their passion has never been stronger during this thing. He said his marriage is stronger than ever. He said he thought by now he'd be on to wife number 4.
Howard asked if Melania is giving him everything he needs. Trump said that it has been good for his marriage. Howard asked how he feels about her turning 50 this year. Trump said they're looking into things. He said he can't get divorced at this point but 50 is the max.
Howard asked Trump about what he thinks about Mike Pence. Trump said faith is important to him and his base. He said Pence is a hard worker and he's been putting in almost 40 hours a week on this Coronavirus thing. He said he got him for the evangelicals. He said they now trust him. He said Pence has a secret weapon. He said he's closeted. He said they call him BGMP (Big Gay Mike Pence). He said he's kind of like Pete Buttigieg and he might be secretly winning over the gays.
Howard said this Dr. Fauci is saying if they had gotten on this thing quicker we could have beaten Coronavirus. He said now he hears that Trump is talking about firing him. Trump said these guys like to get on the microphone and have people look at them. He said these science people are like that. He said he doesn't need this guy contradicting him. He said he knows science like he does so he can do what he does. He said he could have told people to social distance in 2017 but he has to run a country.
Howard said Trump is kind of like Einstein but he gets hot chicks. He said a lot of people are praising Andrew Cuomo there in New York. Trump said he has been very gracious but he thinks Cuomo thinks he's tougher than he really is. He said he thinks he could lighten up a little bit like he has. They spent a little more time joking about the Cuomo thing.
Howard asked how his Easter was. Trump said he has strong faith and it's very important to him. He said this is when Jesus was born and this is very important to celebrate. Robin said Jesus wasn't born on Easter. Trump asked if she was there. Howard said she wasn't so he's right. Trump said some people are against him no matter what. Howard asked what his favorite thing is about Jesus. Trump said he loves that he was a blue collar worker as a carpenter. He said he was nice but he wasn't very strong. He said he could have been a little tougher. Trump said that Howard has said some not so great things about him. He said he's glad he still has some respect for him.
Howard said he can't believe he gave so much power to Jared Kushner. Trump said he wanted to have a guy who was part of a big real estate company join his family. He said he's no Trump. He said he's not even his father. He said he's kind of weak so what he's doing is putting him in a position to fail so he embarrasses himself and he ends up leaving his daughter. He had some jokes about his daughter still giving him a rise at her age.
Howard thanked fake Trump for calling in this morning. Howard asked who his favorite comedian is. Trump said he likes Nick DiPaolo and guys like that. Howard asked about J-L Cauvin. Trump said he's not a fan. Howard was trying to give the guy doing the impression a plug. Howard let fake Trump go a short time later. Howard said he was sharp as a tack today. Robin said she's wondering about their abilities to manufacture things. She said there are a lot of things that they're missing. She said she has toilet paper but there must have been a restocking of it. She said the 3 rolls she was getting disappeared. Howard said she might have to wash her ass in the sink like Ronnie. Howard said he's in fear that his Toto is going to die and he won't be able to wash his ass.
Howard said this whole thing is so crazy. He said they have food and he microwaves whatever it is for 20 seconds to burn off the Coronavirus. Robin asked how it's getting there. He said he takes shortcuts so she doesn't like that. He said he is in charge of cleaning his fruit. He said he's not sure it even works. Robin said she found out baking soda works for everything. Howard said he stocked up on that and he's the only one eating the fruit so he takes care of that. He said he has a setup and he has a way of cleaning. He said he goes through this process and he has it down. He said Beth asked for some grapes in her salad so she asked him to clean them. He figured now he was needed so he had her show him the grapes. He said she did that and there were like 30 on a stalk. He said he did his cleaning process and they went for a walk and he forgot about the grapes. He said they were in there for over an hour. He said the grapes looked like raisins by the time she got them in her salad. He said it ruined the grapes. He said he told her he did everything right. He said the Roomba was laughing at him.

He said he snuck out without his oxygen tank. Robin said the only thing he should be going out for is for the antibody test to see if he has immunity.
Howard asked Sal if he has that right. Sal said he does. He told Howard that one time his dad won the lottery and he was going to give the kids all $2000 and he went out and spent the money the next week on more lottery tickets.

Sal said he had a Facetime for Easter and they had like 14 kids on there. He said it's crazy. Howard asked why they're so anxious to have celebrations with him if he abandoned them all. Sal said he's not sure. He said he has some sort of magnetic personality. Howard said it's wild that these kids love his dad after everything that went on. Howard said it must be that Governale Charm that they don't see with Sal. He said it skips a generation. He said Sal's kids have it.
Sal talked about the things his dad did to him growing up and the other kids hear about that and they think about his dad as the second coming. Howard said he thought his grandfather was a good guy when he was growing up but his mother told him about how awful he really was. He did his mother's voice telling him that story. Robin said there is a tutorial out there about how to do that without fogging them up.
Howard asked if he can wear the masks from China. Robin said of course he can. She said that she has a device coming to her that will kill the virus too. She said she'll let Howard know about that too.
Howard said there are a lot of conspiracy theories about how this virus is spreading. He said some people say that it's the new 5G cell towers. Howard said we need that though. Jon said people just don't believe that this is what it is. Robin said people believe everything they're told.

Howard got Governor Cuomo on the phone and talked to him about what a great leader he is and how he's showing that during this whole Coronavirus thing. Howard asked if he's taking care of himself during this time. Cuomo said that it's hard to sleep during this time. He said you know people are dying every hour in the state and you want to do everything you can do. He said he asks himself what else he can do. He said he is being very careful. He said his brother Chris got the virus and he got smarter afterward. Howard asked what he's doing. Governor Cuomo said he was doing a lot of public appearances and he had to cut back on that. He said he is more isolated now. Howard asked what he's doing right now. Cuomo said he's in Albany working on a public briefing. He said he was traveling all across the state. He said he likes to go around the state but now he's cut back and traveling very little. He said he does a press briefing in the morning and does the work in the afternoon. He said at night he talks to the scientists and health care professionals about what to do next. He said they get the numbers for the deaths and all of that at night and then it starts all over again like Groundhog Day.
Howard asked if he feels this is going to go on for 18 months like he does. Cuomo said that there will be waves of resolution. He said they'll have fewer people dying and that will be an initial resolution. He said that unfettered panic has no place. He said they have figured out how to slow down the beast. He said they'll get the economy going again. He said that they won't have ultimate resolution until they have a vaccine. He said then it'll be a non issue. He said that's probably 18 months away.
Howard said he has a feeling he knows what he's doing and he's organized. He said he has been critical of Trump and they have him on tape saying this will be a big nothing. He asked if he's in touch with Trump every day. Cuomo said it's not every day but he does talk to him several times a week. He said he has put his hand out to deal with him and he has been good in delivering for New York since he put that hand out. He said they sent the Navy ship there and he has delivered for them. Howard said that's a genuine thing then. He said that it seems to be a genuine working relationship then. Cuomo said it's not perfect but they are working on it. He said they have taken shots at each other but they are working.
Howard asked if he thins that Trump is happy that his brother got Coronavirus because he works for CNN. Cuomo said he can be vicious with his attacks. He said he has felt the sharp end of the spears and he can attack himself. He said that he has a confrontational relationship with his brother. He said he would say that CNN always attacks him. He said he has personally attacked his brother and that's partially because of him and partially because of what Chris has said about him. He said Trump does ask how his brother is doing when they talk. He said part of it is politics and the way things are going in Washington.
Howard said Governor Cuomo is on the cover of Rolling Stone now and there are many women out there who are falling in love with him. He said even Robin is looking at him differently. Howard said this whole thing is so wild. He asked how the Rolling Stone thing came about. Cuomo said he didn't pose for a picture. He said he doesn't understand this whole thing either. He said he is just doing the same thing he has always done. He said it's who he is and that's how he operates. Howard said he wishes he had run for president. He said he's backing Biden but he wishes that he had run. He said he seems like the right choice right now. He said he thinks he would win in a landslide. Cuomo said he is just doing what he said he would do and when you do that you have no regrets. He said he tells his kids who are with him now that no regrets is what you should end the game with. He said that you want to honor your word and your commitment.
Howard asked when Governor Cuomo knew he wanted to run for office. Cuomo said he was in his late teens. He said his father taught him that it was an art form to be a public servant. He said that everything else is second to public service and when it's done right it makes a significant impact on people. He said he hasn't changed but the public's appetite has changed. He said that it's no longer a celebrity contest. He said they're seeing that this affects life and death.
Howard said he was never jaded about politicians. He said he sees that some people have a calling for public service. He said he sees that he admired that he chose this life of public service. He said everyone is so jaded but he believes that there are people who are in it for the right reasons. Cuomo said you have to be able to do the job too. He said the job today is life and death. He said we haven't seen that in a long time. He asked when government has had to do something that impacted your life. He said government matters. He said you need that leadership and that has been reintroduced to the public.
Howard said he sees these nudnicks who say they don't want government but they're the first ones to crack during a time like this. He said they need government and competent people in it. Cuomo said they don't want it until they need it. He said if the government doesn't do its job there then it will change the course of people's lives.
Howard asked who he talks to when he's under all of this stress. He asked if he has a shrink. Cuomo said he doesn't. He said he talks to everyone. He said he's wondering who is going to help him with this problem when 700 people died yesterday. He said no one can help you with that.
Howard said he sees people out congregating and not wearing masks. He asked why they're not getting the message. He said they're nudnicks. Cuomo said you will always have a certain percentage of those nudnicks. He said that they had projections saying that many more people would get sick and die. He said the numbers the White House had were different than what the other places were saying. He said that they had to get people to listen to what they were saying. He said New Yorkers were upset that they were going to disrupt their lives. He said he had to have people believe what was going to happen. He said they told them that and they had to believe it was necessary. He said the compliance has worked and changed the numbers. He said that it did work and people believed and acted responsibly.
Howard asked if there are things they don't tell people that are too scary to tell them. Cuomo said that he knew Howard was going to think that. He said that he has all of the experts on and he has them tell you what they know. He said Howard knows everything he knows. He said he has to believe that he has the same facts that he does or the ball game is over. He said everything he knows is what he has told the public.
Howard asked about how he's dealing with Mayor de Blasio. Cuomo said he has to do what he has to do for New York. He said anyone who can help him he'll work with. He said anyone who is contrary to that he will go against. He said that he can't have things happen that are mistakes. He said there are local officials around the state who think they know when schools and businesses should open and close. He said you have to do them all at the same time for the whole state and the surrounding states. He said this virus isn't operating within county lines. He said the entire regional workforce has the same rules. He said they're all working together. He said you can't have this disconnected policy. Howard said this is leadership. He said you can't have people making their own rules.
Howard said Governor Cuomo is making it happen. He asked if he's the only one who hasn't watched Tiger King because he has no time. Cuomo said he has seen excerpts of it because his daughter is around.
Howard said he wants to know if there is anything they can help him with. Cuomo said their voices are so important. He said we're fighting a virus and emotions on an individual level. He said people are frightened and anxious and stressed. He said that you're home and trapped and afraid to touch anyone else. He said the communication is as important as anything else. He said he's fighting distrust and depression. He said we are going to get through this. He said we will get through it in phases. He said you can't go from darkness to light. He said that they will get through it but it is hard. He said it's okay to say that you're scared. Cuomo said even he's scared. Robin said don't tell her that.
Cuomo said he's frightened for her mother and his brother. Howard asked how his brother is. Cuomo said his brother is like Superman. Howard said he must not have been hit that heavy. Cuomo said he did get hit heavy. He said the day he was diagnosed he went on that night from his basement. He said that's guts. He said he went on that night and that really showed him who his brother really is.
Howard said he never wanted a brother because he never wanted to share his mother with anyone. He said that Andrew and Chris has a chemistry that is really sweet. Cuomo said that it's also genuine. He said he doesn't have an alternative. He said it's pure and genuine. He said his brother is a funny guy.
Howard asked if Chris was a burden to him when he was growing up. He asked if he felt that way when his father was governor. Cuomo said he is 13 years older than Chris and he felt for Chris because his father was very busy. He said he was somewhere between that brother and father role. He said it was a lot to handle. He said he was always helping his father who was very obsessive about his job. He said Chris was left at home and he felt for him and his plight. He said balancing all of that was a lot. He said he's a very special human being.
Howard asked if he resented his father for not being there for his brother. Cuomo said he doesn't think he realized it at the time. He said his father had him managing his campaign when he was 23 years old and that was like life and death. He said later in life he talked to him about it. He said his father was doing God's work and that was 24/7 and everything else came second. He said that's why he was so good at what he did. He said he did it with every cell in his body.
Howard said Governor Cuomo is unbelievable at his job. He said he's doing great. He said he's not sure what their future is but he has to thank god every day for him. He said he was going to offer Robin to him. Robin said she's being sacrificed once again. Howard said she might be his girlfriend once this is over. Howard asked if he is lonely. Cuomo said that he is not. He said he has his kids with him and he's too busy to be lonely. He said there may come a time though. Howard asked if he's on any dating sites. Cuomo laughed. Howard said please take care of yourself and he just wants to say thank you. Cuomo thanked Howard and Robin because they need their voice too. Howard said he was the one who passed the law to stop people from declawing their cats. He said he has to thank him for that too.
Howard said when this is all over he'd love to get him in the studio and talk to him at length. He said he won't burden him with them now. He said he'd love to sit down with him at some point. Robin asked if the curve is flat. Cuomo said it is at a plateau. He said it has flattened but it still means that 700 people have died for the past 5 or 6 days. He said that the admissions to the hospitals are flat but that still means that thousands are going to the hospital every day.

He said they took the casket out of the car and it was covered in a bag. He said Mary said it looked like they were throwing out the garbage. Gary said someone said it sounds soulless and that's what it was. Howard said maybe they can have a proper funeral after this whole thing is over. Gary said that could be in a year. Howard said it could be 18 months.
Howard got High Pitch Erik back on the phone and asked why he's taking Uber. Erik said he can't drive his car and he has to go out for things. He said he has to go to CVS and to Lowe's for things. Robin said he could order them online. Erik said don't be feeble minded. He said if he orders anything it'll take until the end of the month. Robin said CVS will deliver. Shuli said he asked him if he wanted him to come over and help with the kids. Robin said he's not quarantining at all. Robin said by the time this is over they won't be able to get Erik out of the apartment because he'll be so big.
Shuli said he has a woman who comes over to clean his apartment and he makes it sound like he has a big apartment but it's just one room. Erik said he will be in his living room playing his PS4. He said she's buying him some stuff today. He said she's getting him pots and pans and things. Howard asked if he's afraid of getting Coronavirus from her. Erik said he cleans everything she brings and she wears gloves and a mask.
Shuli said this is a one bedroom apartment and he has a huge refrigerator and a Craftmatic bed in there. He said it's thousands of dollars that he's spending over there. Erik said he'll go on Zoom one day and show him what he has there. Howard said he's even looking at what Shuli has. He asked what's going on in that room. Shuli said the house is trashed and the kids are running them ragged. Howard asked how old they are. Shuli said they're 10 and 5. Howard said he has friends who are going insane with the kids being home. Shuli said it is rough. His dog walked into the camera range so Howard thought it was one of his kids. Howard asked what kid of dog that is. Shuli said she's a Shorkie. Howard said Shuli is breaking up so he has to go.
Erik said he has to say one thing. He said that the Mayor was talking about how they should have the schools closed through the end of the year. He said that should be decided by the Governor. Howard tanked him and let him go after that.
Gary said he thinks something Robin said about him may have upset John. He said he had sent him a couple of nots saying he wanted to come on but then he ghosted him. Howard said he's not angry with John Mayer at all. He said John was right and he should have put more care into that note.
Howard said John is not in the wrong. He said he wishes he hadn't talked about it on a national show. He said they pointed out what an idiot he is. Gary said even Andy is upset that they did that. Howard said Andy didn't do anything wrong either. He said he's not angry with John or Andy. Gary said he thinks that John may have had enough and now he doesn't want to fix things. Howard said they're calling this Comma-Gate. He said John held on to that letter for 6 years and called him out on it on Andy's show. He said he has to apologize for not putting that comma in that letter. He said he won't make that mistake again. He said he's going to Zoom with a grammar teacher tonight. Robin said if John wants to come on the show she won't bring anything up.
Howard said Michael Rapaport left a voicemail where he was upset about them not checking in with him. Gary said he's doing fine and he's full of shit. Howard said he called Sal like 10 times. He played some of the voicemail he left for Sal. In the message he was yelling at them to check in with him but then his wife started yelling at him to help her clean the house.
Howard said tomorrow they'll hear from Paul McCartney. He said maybe they'll get to Michael at some point. He asked Gary how Michael is doing. Gary said he's fine. He said they're in touch and he seems to be fine.
Robin asked if Jon Hein is still doing his sports show. Howard said he's not and he's pissed about that. Howard asked Jon what the name of the show is. Jon said it was Loud Mouths on SNY. He said he's a regular employee and a freelance employee and none of the freelance employees are working there. He said that they're just airing a lot of old sports over there now. He said they're also playing a lot of E-sports there just to give people something to watch.
Howard got Michael Rapaport on the phone to ask how he's doing. Michael thanked him for calling and he wanted to give condolences to Gary about his father in law. Howard asked how long he's going to lay off calling him names. Michael said 3 days. He said he'll do it now if Howard keeps bringing it up. Howard asked Gary if he's upset about that. Gary said Michael is surprisingly nice to him off the air but once Howard puts him on he becomes an asshole.
Howard said he got a report that he texts Sal regularly and he did call Gary a gorilla in the past week. Michael said that he is in Los Angeles and he was behind when he revealed what went on with his family. He said he was going to call in and tell him to fire Gary last week. He said he was behind on the shows though. He said then he heard about what happened and pulled back.
Gary asked Michael what he should have done about getting Tom Brady on a good connection last week. Michael said he should have gotten him on a bicycle and ride down to Tampa to make sure that he had a good connection. Gary said they test out the signal the day before. He said people have shitty signals. He said on ESPN they played a game of HORSE and the connections were bad.
Michael said Howard let this scrawny goofball John Mayer goof on him. He said Robin held back. He said fuck that fucking goofball. He said how dare he get on the air and do that. He said he wants to belittle Howard. Howard said he did let him know that his grammar was off and he was right. Michael said he would never do that to Howard. He said John is a blow job for doing that. He said Robin didn't jump in on that. Gary said none of them helped the situation.
Michael said Gary should have done something. He called him names and Howard said that moratorium must be off. Howard said maybe Gary liked that comma attack on Gary. Gary said he is on Team Howard 100 percent. Michael said he should call him a goofy cover band looking fuck.
Howard said he feels that John was in his rights to do what he did. He said he should have put more care into that letter. Robin said read between the lines. Howard said he did send him a personal note and he chose not to keep it private.
Howard said he has to end the show. Michael said the fact that they're doing the show means a lot. He said he doesn't listen to any news and he forgets about what's going on out there. He said it means a lot to him and the other fans out there.
Howard said he lost control of his computer. He said it must be the people in the neighborhood using their internet. His audio cut out so he just said ''Goodbye!'' and ended the show around 10:25am.
Howard started the show talking about his opening song and wondering where the Rob Zombie version went. They had one with a Judy Garland singing ''Come on get happy'' in it.
Howard said Robin's voice and video are delayed. He asked them to cut it off. He said even more distracting is staring at himself. He had the guys fix that. He said this is a new reality for everyone. He said they have so many technical issues. He said the crew is working hard and everyone is working remotely. He said it's a miracle that they're able to do it at all. He said you tune in to see the late night shows and they're all taped earlier in the day. He said they're doing it live. Howard said they had technical issues with Tom Brady and everyone is blaming Derek Jeter.
Howard said he's operating on very little sleep today. He said he's filled with angst about the Paul McCartney interview today. He said when you have someone who changed music calling in you don't want to waste a minute with the guy. He said he knows he's calling in for a quick visit but he wants to ask him everything he can. He said he's like Beethoven or Mozart. He said he has to ask him everything so people in the future won't ask why he wasted time. Howard said he has a tremendous responsibility there.
Howard said he was up at 2 in the morning and he wrote down every question he has for Paul. He said he knows it's supposed to be a quick call but he's going to ask as many as he can. He said you think about his music and it blows your mind. He said they have that huge amount of material and it's mind boggling.
Howard said every album is packed with hit after hit. He played a bunch of The Beatles and Paul's songs. He said it's his responsibility to ask him questions about this music. He said this guy is alive during his time so he has to do this. Robin said a lot of times people are disappointed after someone dies because they never got to ask the questions that would have told you who they were and how everything happened.
Howard said you should see the questions he has. He said he has about 5 pages of questions. He said he was up at 2 and didn't go to bed until 4:30. He said he has a pad and pen he can write with that lights up.
Howard said they're supposed to have a half hour with Paul but he has to keep asking his questions as long as he'll answer them. He said people want to know.
Howard said it's too much responsibility for him. Robin said he has the questions written down. Howard said he'll call in and he'll deal with it. He said he's in England somewhere. Robin said it's later in the afternoon for him. Howard said he forgot about that. He said that's good. Howard said he's very excited to talk to Paul even if it's on the phone.
Howard said Governor Cuomo said that they flattened the curve but 700 people still died that day. He said it's a crazy virus. He said Ali Wentworth got it and she was sick as a dog laying in bed for 14 days and her husband has it and he has no symptoms. Robin asked if he was on TV working. Howard said he was. He said she was sick as a dog and George is fine. He said Beth is in touch with Ali and he's worried about her. He said George is on Good Morning America today and he's fine. He said this virus is crazy. Robin asked if he's isolated. Howard said he is of course.
Howard asked if Robin wants to talk to Hung Handsome Howard. He said he has a huge penis and he's very handsome like Brad Pitt. Robin said sure. Howard took the call from Hung Handsome Howard and went through the bit. Hung Handsome Howard was bragging about his life and how much better he has it than regular Howard.
Hung Handsome Howard talked about how good he is at playing guitar. He also talked about forgetting to call his parents because he doesn't think about them that much. Howard asked if Hung Handsome Howard thinks about getting Coronavirus. Hung Handsome Howard told him to just let it happen and not think about that stuff.
Howard said if he had just been hung and handsome he'd be doing great. Robin said he'd be stupid.
Howard asked Hung Handsome Howard if he's staying 6 feet away from people. Hung Handsome Howard said that's like 3 lengths of his penis apart. Howard said he's going to end this because he's getting depressed. Hung Handsome Howard said he's having a zoom orgy later. He said he's having a bunch of women on with him. Howard and Hung Handsome Howard argued about who was going to say goodbye first. Hung Handsome Howard hung up first. Howard said that's an alternate universe Howard. He said that guy is having fun.
Howard said if you have his email please don't email him and ask what Roomba he has. He said he's inundated with questions about it. Robin said she didn't know they had so many kinds. Howard said he has the latest model. He said it vacuums and empties the bag. He said it's the S9+. He said he should have bought stock in Roomba before he talked about it. He said Beth asked him to get it to work tomorrow. He said he had to set it up. He said Beth was shocked he got it working.
Howard said a lot of people wrote him about Roomba. He said someone wrote him about how if it hits cat puke or doody it'll fling it everywhere. He said if you have dog shit on the floor then it's going to make a mess. He said you have to make sure you don't leave things on the floor. He said his cats were freaked out by this thing.
Howard read more feedback from people who have Roombas. Howard said someone said they named their Roomba ''Rosie.'' Howard said he didn't name his. He said he just calls it Roomba.
Howard read more feedback about the Roomba and had some information about the guy who invented this thing. Some people sent in name suggestions for his Roomba. They had Sal, High Pitch Erik and one guy said he named his ''Cuntsuelo.''
Howard read some feedback about yesterday's Michael Rapaport interview. Some people were upset with him demanding to be checked in on during the quarantine. Howard had some positive feedback about him too.
Howard said everyone loved Trump calling in yesterday. He said that was J-L Cauvin who did that. Howard said everyone loved Governor Cuomo on the show yesterday. He read through a bunch of feedback about that.
Howard took a call from a guy who said he thinks that Andy Cohen was the one who came up with the idea for John Mayer to bring out the thank you note. Howard said everything with that is going crazy. He said John brought that letter out and it turned into a whole thing. He said he was just making a point that he was ashamed and embarrassed by the whole thing. He said he should have known better. He said he should have checked his grammar.
Howard said yesterday John Mayer typed out a note to him that was one page long. He said it was a lovely note and he talked about what a fan he is of the show. He said he went back to Butt Bongo Fiesta. He said he asked Beth to look over his letter and she said there were no grammar mistakes. He said it was a lovely note and he has no animosity toward John. He said he likes the guy. He said he knows he gave him a poke but that's fine.
The caller said he should be mad at Andy and not John. He said he thinks it was Andy who was trying to get back at him for goofing on him first. Howard said he knows Andy and John are good friends and maybe it came up in conversation. He said he knows Andy wants to fuck John so bad. He said John is heterosexual though. He said he doesn't think he's getting in his pants.
Howard said he thinks that John gets off on Andy wanting him so badly. He said he figures they were hanging out and John showed him the note and pointed out the missing comma. He said Andy remembered that and had him on and had him show the note on his show.
Howard said it's no one's fault but his own for missing that comma. He said Andy is so tickled that John comes on his show. He said Andy is a top and John looks like he'd be a bottom. He said if he were a gay man he'd be fucking him in the ass. He said for Andy it's like a dog with a steak. He said Andy would fuck the Coronavirus right out of John Mayer.
Howard said John wrote him a nice note and he emailed him back. He said he kept it short and told him he's okay with him. He said he doesn't have to keep apologizing. He said he should have put more time into the note for John. He said that's it.
Howard said he won't read John's note on the air because it's a private note. He said he won't do that to him. Robin said that's the mistake John made. Howard said John said he made a mistake by sharing the note on the air.
Howard's audio cut out when he was talking to the caller. Robin had to thank the caller for his comments. They had some silence so they went into a song parody about Coronavirus while they waited for him to come back.
Howard came back and said the power went out in his house and his generator kicked in. He said the audio dropped out for a second. Gary said it must have shut off for a second. Howard said he was in the middle of yelling at that caller.
Howard said he's not sure what they missed when he was cut off. Robin said they heard most of what he was saying to the caller.
Howard said he wrote to John Mayer and he thinks things are cool now. He said don't ask him what Roomba he has or to do any charity events. He said it was just a quick note. Howard said John also told him why he won't do the show and it's probably best that he doesn't.
Howard said Andy wants to take his thank you note and underline all of his mistakes with John Mayer's jizzum.
Howard took a call from a woman who said the interview with Cuomo was amazing yesterday. She asked if Howard wants to go to some platform where he would interview political people. Howard said when he's done with this he's probably done with being. He said with everything going on there's probably not much time left. He said he's not going to start another show.
Howard said when he interviews someone political he's doing it because he's passionate about that person. He said doing that every week doesn't interest him. He said when he finishes this he'll be like 80 and he's not going to interview the likes of Mitch McConnell. He said when he's done with his last show there he's going to have a Viking funeral. He said he'll go up in flames on a boat. He said Fred will shoot the flaming arrow at his boat.
Howard said there have been some networks who asked him to do shows like that. He said if they're going to pay him more money to do it then maybe they're talking his language. The caller laughed so Howard wondered why. She said she gets nervous and laughs. She said they just want to keep Howard as long as they can. She said even with the shortened show is fantastic. She said it's all jam packed in. She said even one day a week for 30 minutes would be fine with her. Howard said he hopes Sirius is listening because he'd like to do one show a week for 30 minutes for triple the amount of money he's making now.
Howard said Kat sounded very sexual to him. He said maybe she wanted him to have phone sex with her. He said he can't do that with Beth upstairs cleaning the house.
Howard said Bernie Sanders finally dropped out of the Presidential race. He said don't be a dick by staying in it. He said he likes Bernie but it was the right time to drop out. He said he lost and that's it. He said the guy is 78. He said he was born in 1941. He went through some things that were newer and older than Bernie. He said Duct Tape is older by 2 years.
Howard read more about Bernie Sanders but his microphone was cutting out again. Gary let him know that he was freezing up again. They played some stuff to cover for him while they tried to fix the issue. They played a Mariann from Brooklyn sex story, The Beatles ''Come Together,'' a phony phone call Jim Breuer made to a feed store as Goat Boy and The Beatles ''She Loves You.''

Howard said Paul is calling him now. Howard tried to take the call and he cut out again. Paul was there but Howard wasn't. Robin had to talk to Paul for him. Robin said forget about Howard. She said that he spent all night thinking of questions for him. Howard got back on.
Howard said he feels this sense of urgency to talk to Paul. He said if he was alive during the time of Beethoven and Mozart then he'd feel he'd have to ask every question he can. He said he has to get very bit of information out of Paul.
Paul asked if he would ask them if they got laid. Howard said yes. He said that's his first question. He asked if he's getting laid. Paul laughed and asked if Howard is alright. Howard said he wants to know how he's doing. Paul said he's in Sussex in England and he's doing well. He said Nancy is in New York so things are rough. He said he's lucky that he's locked down with his daughter Mary and her family. He said that makes it better.
Howard asked how he and Nancy got separated. Paul said it's kind of private stuff but Nancy had to get back to New York for her family and he knew she had to do that. He said he had to get back to England so they went their way. He said she's there at 7:00 banging pots and pans out her window. Howard asked if he ever thought he'd see something like this in his life. Paul said never. He said it's crazy how things are and it's scary. He said the thing for him is that he's from the generation that just came out of World War II and the spirit they showed was what they needed and this is what we need now. He said it is around and people are pulling together. He said if we don't then we're finished.
Howard said he's reading a book called Unbroken about World War II and the guys are so rugged and banding together. He said during World War II everyone sacrificed. He asked if we're going to see that or civil unrest. Paul said we're seeing it over there in England. He said people aren't going crazy and looting like you'd think. He said he thinks that it's happening the other way and people realize that there's so much good in humanity. He said it seems to be showing itself. He said everyone is doing their best to stay safe. He said he's seeing a lot of good spirit out there in England. He said it's the same spirit everyone had after World War II. He said he witnessed that growing up.
Howard said he's talking about the banging the pots thing and that's what everyone in New York is doing. Howard said he got a note from Nancy about what her friend wrote about the wet markets in China. He said that they could shut that down over there but the government chooses not to. He said it's mind boggling. Paul said it seems that many of these viruses that have affected us have come from there. He said the Chinese Government has the power to shut that down over there. He said it's a little bit medieval eating bats. Howard asked if Paul has stopped eating bats. Paul said he has but Ozzy hasn't.
Howard said it's amazing that they won't shut those markets down in China. He said that they have to. He said maybe they'll listen to Paul.
Paul said he may have something there. He said they may do it anyway but it may be voices like his and Howard's that suggest it. He said it's a good idea for them and for us. He said they need to clean up their act over there. Paul said that this may lead to it being cleaned up.
Howard said this should inspire them to do something. He said that's why he likes that whole article that his wife sent him. Robin said the pressure is mounting on the banning of the wet markets movement. Paul said they're animal people from way back and they're not keen on that stuff anyway.
Paul said that whoever is responsible for this is at war with the world and itself. He said they say that people have done it forever and this is the way they do things. He said they need to change.
Howard said imagine when he was starting out and they would go out to practice. He said if they had to do this back then they never would have gotten out to perform. He said this is altering history in a way that's really profound. Paul said it's a very serious thing and someone has to do something about it. He said back in their day they'd have a single concert canceled or something. He said that was just a day in one area and not the whole world. He said he's had to cancel a bunch of concerts this year. He said he's had to postpone until next year.
Howard said it must kill him not to be able to perform. Paul said what's bad for him is the people who had to cancel and get refunds on their tickets. He said they were looking forward to going out and performing.
Howard said they were talking about Elton John doing a performance and he didn't have a piano in his house. He said imagine this guy doesn't have a piano in his house. He asked if Paul has any houses with no instruments in it. Paul said that doesn't apply to him. He said he has a guitar with him all the time.
Howard said he was watching when Paul brought Ringo up on stage for 2 songs. He said it was a phenomenal highlight to see that. He asked how that was for him. Paul said it was fantastic for them. He said when so much time goes by you get to reflect on things in your life. He said the other guys in the Beatles are the sweet things in his life. He said it's magical to be able to perform with Ringo. He talked about how great it was to work with him and how he had to turn and look at him and see him there. He said he was thinking about how great it was to be working with him.
Howard asked if Ringo came to him asking if he can go out on tour with him. Paul said that didn't happen but it was great to play with him.
Howard asked Paul why he didn't just keep the Beatles going with George and Ringo when John broke them up. He said that George was such a great song writer. He said that he could have had the best of both of their things together as The Beatles. Paul said they were like a family. He said when they break up it's due to emotional pain. He said you're hurting too much and it wasn't going to happen. Howard asked if he thinks he underestimated George Harrison as a song writer. Paul said it was easy to underestimate George. He said John had written most of the stuff. He said that he had most of the singles and George was a late bloomer as a writer. He said he wasn't that interested in the beginning. He said he really bloomed and had some of the best songs ever. Howard said ''Here Comes the Sun'' was just one.
Paul said in the band at that point you weren't surprised that anyone came in with a good song. He said that they were all working and that song was quite complicated. He said they loved the song but most of the time they were just trying to figure it out.
Paul talked about how interesting it was to grow up with George in his neighborhood and how he hitchhiked with him around the countryside. He said they had an interesting friendship.
Howard said he was talking to Jimmy Fallon the other day about the best bands of all time. He said they figured that The Beatles were the best of all time. He said that the Rolling Stones never would have existed without them. He said The Beatles are better than the Rolling Stones. He asked if he's correct. Paul said he's going to persuade him to agree with that one. He said he thinks the Stones are fantastic. He said that Mick can really sing and move. He said they're all great. He said he loves them but their stuff is rooted in the blues. He said the Beatles had other influences but he would agree that the Beatles were better.
Howard asked if it was annoying to him that other bands were copying what they did. Paul said that they did see that the Stones were doing things similar to them. He said there was a lot of that early on but they were great friends. He said they admire each other. Howard said it was a fantastic time for music back then. He said the Stones were great too.
Howard asked Paul if he was ever offered roles in movies. Paul said not in Hollywood but there was an Italian director, Franco Zeffirelli, who wanted him to play Romeo. He said he said no to him. He said they need an actor for that. He said he came close to doing something like that but he didn't do it. Howard said it can mess up your career if it's not your thing to do. Paul said he said thanks but no thanks to that offer.
Howard asked Paul how aware he is of the music scene and if Van Halen was of interest to him in the 80s. Paul said he wasn't that interested in the 80s as he was with the 60s and 70s. He said he was into Dylan and Neil Young. He said it got a little less special as time went on. He said he knows people who are crazy about it now. He said it was their generation. He said for him he'd rather hear some Neil Young any day. He said he was aware of Van Halen but he wasn't a big fan. He said he doesn't mean it in a bad way, it just wasn't on his radar.
Howard said he interviewed Billie Eilish and her brother and they made their album in their bedroom. He asked what he thinks he and John could have done if they had that equipment back then. Paul said he thinks that for them it's brilliant. He said what they produce is very special. He said Billie is a friend of his daughter Stella and she Facetimed with her. He said he listened to her stuff and it's really great. He said for him the memories of going into the studios is something he likes. He said he had been in his bedroom enough and he liked getting out. He said they banged out 4 songs a day and he wouldn't swap that for anything.
Howard asked about what it was like writing songs with John and if they were able to write songs in 20 minutes. Paul said it wasn't 20 minutes but they were able to spend a coupe of hours and get them done. He said they always came up with a song after those one hour sessions. He said they'd work together and ping pong it between each other. He said they were great sessions.
Howard asked if Paul ever felt self conscious about writing about a paperback writer or something like that. Paul said no. He said that kind of thing would happen live and he'd just say something and John would say no. He said they edited each other as they went along. Paul said he had that Paperback writer idea for a long time and he wrote it like a letter to an editor or publisher.
Howard said he heard that if someone objected to a song they would reject it for the album. Paul said it was very democratic and they all had a say in it. He said there would be a dispute with things and they'd talk about how a song was going to go and if Ringo didn't want to do a drum solo they wouldn't do it. He said now all of this stuff is history. He said they never thought it would be history. He said that they would leave notes around and someone picked them up and now sells them for $700,000.
Howard asked Paul about writing ''Let it Be'' and how John didn't like it. He said he felt that it was too religious for him but it really wasn't religious at all. He said it all made him feel so good. He said he thinks Howard will like it.
Howard said John called Paul out on his album and said that all he's done is ''Yesterday'' but it's like he did it all himself. He said that Paul must have been furious with him when he did that to him. Paul said that's true. He said knowing John he was a crazy dude. He said he would say what he felt and whatever he wanted. He said a lot of it wasn't true. He said he was able to take it with a pinch of salt because that was John. He said John didn't write all of the lyrics to those songs. He said that he just had to take the punches.

Howard said we'll see that in the movie whenever that comes out.
Paul said he has to go now. Howard said he hates when he has to go. Paul said he's having so much fun talking to him. Howard said it must not be that fun if he has to run. He asked what he has to do. Howard said John was so vicious to Paul after they broke up. He said imagine that Paul is sitting there and John puts out his solo album and he hears that the only thing he ever did was ''Yesterday.'' He said imagine what that was like for Paul. He said he fantasizes that Paul would ask him to interview him for 75 hours to get all of the details out there. He said he's still alive and he should be doing that in his life.
Howard said he was out with Jon Bon Jovi one night and he told him that he was able to call Paul and have him listen to his album. He said that's how that came about.
Howard said he thought about what he wanted to ask him about. He wrote it all down last night. He said he wanted to ask him about punching Eddie Vedder in the head accidentally. He had questions about the songs he wrote too. Robin asked if Howard keeps these questions. Howard said he needs a lot of time with him. He said he has so many things to ask about. He said it drives him crazy. Robin told him to compile them into a presentation for Paul. Howard said he doesn't want to do that. He said he doesn't bother these people. Howard read some of the article and this Blistein guy said that this was a conspiracy theory about people eating bats in China and how it's implying that eating bats is a regular thing. Howard said the guy says that it may not have been bats but an ant eater type of animal over there. It could have been that or a snake. Howard asked what the difference is. He said Paul was making the point that they have to stop the wet markets. He said these things are jumping from rodents to people because the people are eating them.

He said even Prince didn't come off that well when he did it.
Howard asked Jon if he wants some of his clothes to hang on his wall. He said it seems odd to him that he has Belichick's hoodie. Jon said he has a few things like that. Jon said he actually had in his song what Paul was suggesting and he didn't have all of the lyrics to sing that part for Paul.
Howard asked if he thinks Paul is totally honest with him about songs. Jon said you can find something good in any song that someone has you listen to. He said he did the same thing with Bruce and he has listened to Bruce's stuff too. He said they have the opportunity to get together and share it and it's amazing when you can do that.
Howard asked about what it's like to have Bruce call you over to listen to his new music. He said they must stare at the speaker cones there. Jon said they listened in Bruce's car about 10 years ago. Howard said the song was just beautiful. He asked if they did the song the same way on the album. Jon said he has the band behind him on the album but that's the song. Howard said it was so great that he did it for him. He said he needs him to come over and do that again in a couple of weeks for his friends. Jon said it was just a year ago that they did that. Howard said it was. He said that's hard to believe. He said no one is ever coming over to his house again.
Howard said what's great is when Jon did that performance at his birthday show. He said he and Pat Monahan looked like they were having such a great time. He said he thinks they did ''Wanted Dead Or Alive.'' He said that's one of the best songs he ever wrote. Howard said he let Pat take some of the lines. Howard played some of that performance. He said it's called ''Do What You Can.'' He said he'll perform it for the first time ever. He said it's an important song for everyone. Howard asked if its like a telethon. Jon said it is.
Howard asked who will open the show. Jon said the producer is going to figure all of that out. He said Joel Gallen will be the guy to do that. He said that they have so many great performers coming on to do the show. He said that they all have a window and you are by yourself. He said he's not sure what everyone else will be doing but he's got his guitar.
Howard asked where Uncle Floyd and Joe Piscopo are. Jon said it's not too late to get on. He said he'd love to see Uncle Floyd. He said he did that show. Howard said everyone did. Howard asked how you trust a vocal coach. He said if you hire the wrong asshole they can really fuck you up. He said they could teach you to sing the wrong way. Jon said that he woman he has, Katie, has been with him for over 30 years. Jon said Dee Snider used to go to her back in the 80s. He said it was Steven Van Zandt who turned him on to her. He said that he went 30 plus years ago and he's been with her ever since. Howard asked why he has to go if he knows everything. Jon said that you have to keep working at it. He said if you're at this level you ave to put the time in.
Howard said he got some vocal lessons and this woman he had taught him to make noises. He asked Jon what he does. Jon explained that you learn to get your tongue out of the way and it's a lot of little things that you have to do. He said you have to work on it every day. He said the older he gets the harder he works at it.
Howard gave Jon some more plugs for the benefit show and said he's really moved by him taking the time to talk to them. He said he's going to send him some of his old socks to hang next to that Belichick hoodie. Jon said people need to just be patient and stay home. Howard let him go after that.
Howard said Robin has studied with the same woman Jon has worked with. He played some of Robin's singing. Robin said she heard Jon talking about moving your tongue out of the way and she was thinking that's what she has to do. Robin said she was listening to Howard do that warm up thing he told Jon about. Howard said his voice was so locked up early on. He said he'd get on the air and his voice would get tight. He said he went to take some lessons and this woman was very nice. He said she taught him some techniques. He said she had him blowing out into hot water and other things. He said he was able to get rid of his New York accent with that. He said he remembers sitting there wondering what the fuck he was doing there. He said he stopped all of that and stuck with the voice he had and that relaxed him.

Howard said he's going to take a break and get to a few more things. Robin said she has to talk about something first. She said that Tom Brady has registered a trademark and the two things he applied for are ''Tompa Bay'' and ''Tampa Brady.'' Howard said maybe he's going to try to make some dough off of that. Robin said she doesn't get a ring from that. Howard said he likes Tompa Bay. Howard said he was told to get his own name on the internet when that first started. He said he didn't think it was going to be anything and the next thing he knows he can't get his own name. He said he bought some other names and didn't want to give them up. Howard said he's bad with that stuff. He said he should have done like Arnold Palmer did and invent a drink.
Howard said he should have a cranberry juice and vodka and call it a Howard Stern. He said from now on you owe him money if you make one. He said maybe just boil water and he'll call that a Howard Stern.
Howard got Tan Mom on the phone and asked if she's social distancing. Tan Mom said she is not. She asked how they're all doing. She said she actually is on lockdown and she's getting everything delivered to her house. Howard asked if she goes outside to be around other people. Tan Mom said she goes for walks and bike rides. She said her son is coming from Boca to visit. Howard said that fucks up the whole quarantine thing. He said he's coming from another source. Tan Mom said they disinfect before they come into her house. She said they have an outside shower so they wash off out there.
Howard explained to Tan Mom how the virus is spread and how she could still get it even if they wash her son off. Tan Mom said that he's not coming then. Howard said he heard that she's putting screens on her windows to combat the virus. Tan Mom said that she's covering the windows up as much as she can and having the air conditioning run. Howard said then she has her son in and it's all for nothing. Tan Mom said she's not going to have him over then.
Howard said he got a note saying that she's doing a concert to raise money for her own tanning bed. Tan Mom said she's buying her own tanning bed and the money is going to a charity instead. She said that all started out as a joke. She said she's paying for the tanning bed herself.
Howard asked who told her that the screens will work to keep the virus out. Tan Mom said that her father did. She said he's really tan. She said that he's like that guy who is really tan that they always talk about. She said that he taught her to get tan. Howard said she could have stopped that trend right there instead of having her kids do it. Tan Mom said her kids are smart and they won't do what she has done. Howard said he never thought that tanning was learned in the home but she told him that she wasn't bright enough to stop the cycle. He said that's fascinating.
Tan Mom talked about how much she loves to sit in the sun and bake. She said her kids don't like doing that. She said they do have a healthy glow though. Howard asked if anyone ever asks her if they're really her kids because they should look like a rotisserie chicken. Tan Mom said they don't get it. She said they all roll their eyes when he goes out to tan.
Howard asked if she has had any cancerous lesions removed yet. Tan Mom said not at all. She said nothing is wrong. She said it's unbelievable.
Howard said when he first got to meet Tan Mom he thought her kids would look like human footballs. He said it turns out they have a healthy glow. He said that's something.
Howard said he knows she's raising money for a charity. He asked what song she's going to sing and does she know the lyrics. Tan Mom said she's going to be singing and they're selling tickets online. She said they have a hang out session too. She said she's going to be performing ''Free 2 Be Me.'' Howard asked if she knows the song now. Tan Mom said she's not going to sing now. Howard said this is what he was afraid of. He said she should be able to sing it. She sang a few words but that was it.
Howard said they say that part of the proceeds go to charity. He said that the other part must be going to the tanning chair. Howard asked how much is going to charity. Tan Mom said it's 50/50. Howard said 50 percent will go to God's Love We Deliver. Howard asked how many tickets have sold so far. Tan Mom said 30. Howard asked how much tickets are. Tan Mom said they're $7.50. Howard said that if they round that up to $10 then how much is it. Tan Mom said it's 300. Howard said the charity will get 50 percent of that. Tan Mom said that's right. She said it's just going to be a little party. Howard said he's shocked that 30 people bought tickets to it.
Howard said he'd like to interview the 30 people who bought tickets. He got a note saying that JD bought 2 accidentally. JD said he bought one and wasn't sure if it went through so he bought another. Howard said he has a theory that JD actually bought 30 tickets accidentally. JD said he checked his bank statement and it as just 2.
Howard asked Tan Mom if she's doing anything else to promote the show. Tan Mom said she had a radio station that they were talking to. She said they're going to do it on Friday night when everyone is just hanging around. Howard asked if she will be dressed up for this. Tan Mom said she will be with her family so she'll probably do some outfit changes. She said she has some appetizers that she wanted to share but she can't. Howard said he's thinking back to the days when she came into the studio and she showed some ''side meat'' on the couch. He said that might get some people to react during her show. Tan Mom said in the name of crickets she did not. Howard said Sal said it looked like a slice of baloney. He said he didn't agree with that.
Howard said there are still 484 tickets left for anyone who wants to join the concert. He said it's on Zoom so there's a limit of 500.
Howard said he has run out of time with Tan Mom. She was talking about all of the things she's not able to do right now. Howard said he wishes her luck with the concert and all of that. He said he hopes the pandemic brings her closer to her husband. She said they'll talk about that next time. Robin said she's not sure if he's even there. Howard said he's there. Tan Mom said he is there. Howard asked if she calls him Dragon Breath. She said she calls him Death Breath. Howard let her go a short time later.
Howard said Andy Cohen is on the phone. He took the call and gave him some plugs for Real Housewives. Andy said it's coming back tonight. He said it's a slow burn this season. Howard asked how he's feeling. Andy said he's feeling good. He said he did a virtual workout for the first time in a month. He said the tightness is back in his chest after that.
Andy said he has to add one more point to the conversation about John Mayer and the thank you note. He said Howard seems to think this was a pre-planned public flogging to make fun of Howard but it was really a spontaneous conversation. He said he asked John to do a show and tell and he had never heard about this note before. He said when he brought it on it wasn't about making fun of it. He said they didn't set out to make fun of it. He said Robin came on and made everything worse. Robin said that's her job.
Howard said it's all irrelevant. He said he believes that he was having a conversation with John Mayer who he thinks Andy wants to fuck so hard. Andy said that's not the driving factor in their friendship. Howard said he's his type. He said he likes that thin, twinkie kind of guy. He said he would fuck him in the ass if he gave him the go ahead.
Howard said his perception of it is that he's friends with John who is a fabulous talent. He said he came on his show and he sent him a note. He said John knew that he had forgotten the comma. Andy said he doesn't think he did. Howard said he did. He said he just got a note from John and he typed it on a typewriter. He said he took the letter out to be funny about it. He said he's not angry with either of them. He said he's upset that he had written that note and left the comma out. He said he deserved a better note. Andy said he was goofing on it in a different way. Howard said he was embarrassed. He said he felt like a fool.
Andy said it wasn't pre-meditated on either of their behalf. Howard said it was on John's part. He said he chose his note to show off. He said he took it out to show to America. Andy said it wasn't for the whole country. Howard said he could have shown him things from when he dated Katy Perry or Jessica Simpson or his guitars. Andy said he didn't have access to everything. Howard said the glee on Andy's face shows that he loved it. He said he's not mad at him though. Andy and Howard argued about that back and forth a couple of times.
Howard said he wrote a note to John and told him that he's not mad at him. He said he was embarrassed by leaving that comma out. He said he should have written a better letter.
Howard said he was fine with this whole thing. He said now he's getting mad at Andy for making him think that he's an idiot. He said it was clear he was the brunt of the joke. He said that it was obvious that they were doing a bad routine and John knew that it was a mistake. Andy said they didn't work out a bit.
Howard got Ralph on the phone and asked what he thinks. Ralph said last week he thought it was ridiculous but he went back and listened and they were clearly fucking with Howard. He said it was the worst acting ever. He said now Andy is being a pussy about it. He said just admit that they were fucking with him. Andy said he wouldn't be doubling down if he did. Howard said he should just admit it. Andy said that it was funny when they pointed out that the comma was missing. He said he thought it was funny for a different reason. He said he has failed in his attempt but he loves the show. He said he feels bad for Beth and he wants to thank the fans for all of the nitpicks from last week.
Howard took a call from Mariann from Brooklyn who said she thinks Andy knows what he did and he should admit it and apologize. She said he just wants air time on Andy's show. She said it's not the first time he's thrown Howard under the bus. She said that he is treating Howard like shit and he owes him an apology.
Howard said he wants to put this to rest. He said he loves Andy and thinks he's terrific. Howard said he loves that John Mayer came on the show and did his birthday party. He said don't insult his intelligence about the letter though. He went over the story again with him. He took another call from Mariann from Brooklyn who went off on Andy about wanting air time. Andy said he has his own shows so he's not thirsty for air time.
Howard said he admits that he was wrong about the comma. He said he wishes that John had written him personally instead. Andy said he's not taking away from his feelings. He said he loves them and told them to stay healthy. Howard said calm down with the working out.
Gary said that Andy got a bunch of dick pics last week and High Pitch Erik sent one and wonders if he has seen it. Andy said if he saw it he doesn't remember. He said he may have deleted it. Gary said he sent it to him so he will forward it to him.
Howard asked how many pics he got. Andy said there were about 60. He said some of them were straight guys. Howard said he got a cock avalanche.
Andy got High Pitch Erik's dick pic and said it's like 3 pieces of candy under a belly. Howard said he must have a lot of penis on his computer. He asked how many of the pics are white and how many are black. Andy said he thinks that they were all white. He said he doesn't think there are many black guys who sent them. He said there weren't many Asians either. He said it was also 90 percent straight guys. He said they were asking to be reviewed. He said he felt like he should do it because he did ask Howard to get the dick pics to him. Howard said they should have a show where they have Andy rating dicks. He said they can have George Takei on to do that too. Howard asked if there were uncircumcised penis in the pics. Andy said there were some. Howard asked if he would prefer to have a good looking guy with a High Pitch Erik cock or a nice cock with an ugly guy. Andy said he would pick a good looking guy with an Erik cock. Howard said that's because he's a top and he'd just fuck the guy in the ass.
Howard wrapped up with Andy and told him to drop the whole John Mayer thing. Howard said he'll be watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills tonight. He said Andy created it and he will never forget that.
Howard said Andy is a nice guy but he knows what he was doing. Robin said he wasn't there so he is reading into it a little bit. Howard said he knows what he saw on TV. Robin said that part can't be verified but they did make fun of him on TV. Howard said that's it.
Howard got Benjy on and said he's such a weirdo. He said he can never get his camera worked out for meetings. He said he's constantly moving around.
Howard said he was talking about this show Unorthodox on Netflix. He said Benjy got into their meeting yesterday and started yelling about how it wasn't so great. He said he wrote what happens at the end of the show and spoiled it for everyone. He said Jason got upset because he was looking forward to watching it. Benjy said he didn't write it like that. Jason said he wrote that the ending was trite and said what happens. Benjy said he didn't know what he wrote was a spoiler. He said he doesn't think it was. Jason said it was. He said you don't tell the end of a story to someone who hasn't seen it.
Howard asked why he was wrong about Andy and John. Benjy said he knows he was upset about it. He said it was a very legitimate thing to him. He said John could have read it the wrong way and Andy corrected him. Howard said he didn't see it that way. Benjy said it seems crazy that he doesn't think that someone would cherish his note that much. Howard said Benjy doesn't understand what he's even saying. He said he just told Robin what he was thinking at the time.
Howard said he heard that Benjy is masturbating every day now. Benjy said he's always done that. He said he didn't do it every night in the hospital. Howard said you shouldn't do it there at all. Benjy asked why not.
Howard said he heard Benjy is into ballerina porn too. Benjy said he looked up the porn and ballerinas are very attractive so he looked into it. Howard said they're not real ballerinas. Robin said the step mothers Howard is into aren't really step mothers. Benjy said the ballerinas in porn are good looking. He said it's so sexy. Howard said he'll have to look it up.
Fred did a little bit of his Benjy Puppet thing and spoiled some movies. They were movies that everyone has seen. He mentioned Darth Vader being Luke's father and Benjy said he hasn't seen Star Wars so he actually did spoil that for him.
Howard asked Benjy about how he was suggesting that the mayor forfeits his salary while the city is shut down. Robin said that's one of the things she was talking to him about online. Benjy said Robin did the same thing he did. Robin said she told him to shut up. She said she's tired of people who do nothing telling people what to do.
Howard said Benjy doesn't use a knife to chop up raw potatoes. He said he chews them up and spits them on a plate. Robin said that's ridiculous. Benjy said it's so much easier to do it that way. He said he would never do that if someone came over. He said he wouldn't do that to Howard. Fred did more of his Benjy Puppet voice.
Howard said Benjy also drinks sardine juice from the can. Benjy said he does it if he's making something with it. He said it must be healthy so he drinks it.
Howard cut Benjy off when he brought up something from the show Unorthodox. He said he loves when Robin and Benjy fight on Facebook. Robin said she doesn't go on that much but he always has something ridiculous pop up.
Howard said he was going to get to more stuff but it's 10 o'clock and his internet will probably cut out soon.
Howard said tune into 101 next week for that special. He said he had so much to get to today. He said he knows they'll get bumped off any minute now. He said he has to thank Bon Jovi and Andy Cohen for coming on today.
Howard said he has to thank Paul McCartney for coming on. Robin said Governor Cuomo too. Howard said someone told them that Paul came on the show shortly after 9/11 and he was on the Ed Sullivan show after the Kennedy assassination. He said now Paul is on during this pandemic. Howard read some feedback about the interview. Someone said it reminded him of the Dana Carvey impression of Paul that he did when he was on. Howard had the guys play a clip of Dana doing his impression.
Howard said they had some tech problems yesterday and he was off the air when Paul got on. He said so many people wrote him about that. He went through some of the feedback about that. Howard said he's getting terribly frustrated during this time but everyone is struggling and they have to change the way they live. He said it's not fair but he's taking a breath when he has problems. He said we're all struggling. Robin said nothing is the way we want it to be. Howard said Robin stepped in and took over and kept Paul occupied.
Howard said they could avoid the technical problems by pre-taping the show but they decided to do it all live. He said he wants to do it live.
Howard said Jeff the Drunk got pissed off that he wasn't able to get through to the show during the McCartney interview. Howard read some of the comments Jeff got about the post he made on Twitter about not being able to get through. Howard said they can only get to so many calls. Gary said Jeff is still pissed today because he still can't get on. Howard said he thanks Jeff for caring so much about the show that he does that. Howard wrapped up and ended the show around 10:10am.
Today's show was over around 10:10am.
