All may not be lost Canadian fans. Read this article at Yahoo and scroll down to where they mention Howard. He could eventually make it to the Great White North... maybe.
There are also some crafty Canadians who are using U.S. addresses to get their subscriptions started and using their Canadian credit cards to pay for U.S. based subscriptions... So if you're desperate, give that a try. Check out this site for more suggestions... HowardOnSiriusCanada.com
Howard started off the morning talking about how he's got 24 live shows left before they leave to move to satellite. Robin pointed out how much of a mess Howard's hair was this morning so Howard explained how he was going to do a photo shoot today and Toni Coburn was going to fix up his hair later in the morning. He said he didn't have time to do anything with it before he came to work. He's been so busy working with his Sirius stuff that he couldn't sleep again. He was up at 11:30 last night after falling asleep during 60 Minutes. He said he took some Ambien and still woke up at 3:30 in the morning. Robin told Howard that Eminem was addicted to that stuff and it eventually wasn't working so that might be where Howard is headed. Howard said he really doesn't want to go to rehab for sleep medication. Artie asked Howard if he's had any memory loss from the Ambien like some people say they have. Howard hasn't had that problem yet.
Howard told the guys that he went out shopping for his new office yesterday and found a nice chair and ottoman. He doesn't want the office to look like an office though, he's just looking to make it look nice. He said he found a nice coffee table that he can work on with his laptop. He's going to make it look like home instead of what he did with his office there at WXRK. He wants to have meetings in there and wants people to feel comfortable. The office he has now is pretty stark from what he was saying. It currently has a couch and a chair and that's about it.
Howard said that he's going to be on David Letterman's show on November 17th and will making his case for people to buy satellite. A phone caller asked Howard about this Heidi Cortez show that he's going to be starting on Howard 100. Howard said they have it wrong on his web site and she won't be starting until next week. Howard started to talk about the show a little bit but the delay button hits started at that point. Howard was trying to explain how this chick Heidi Cortez will be helping to put guys to sleep by talking dirty on her own show on Howard 100. Howard came up with the idea for that show last week at the last minute but this new venture of his allows him to move quickly. Heidi's new show starts next Monday, November 14th, and he says that he won't let people down with the content he's going to have on his channels.
The caller Howard had on the line said that it's amazing what WYSP is doing now that Howard is leaving. They're cutting into the show and promoting David Lee Roth. Howard said that they can do whatever they want and you get what you pay for. He compared SIRIUS to renting a movie. A movie costs you five bucks for one rental. He went on to say that he's going to explain more about the value of the service when he goes on Letterman's show and also said that he may open up Madison Square Garden to people for free so he can talk about it there as well.
Howard brought up the 60 Minutes interview that he's been doing over the past couple of weeks and how he thinks the report should be pretty good once it airs. The caller that was on the line said that he hopes that Howard doesn't stop having the melt downs that he's been having lately, he kind of likes that stuff. Howard told the guy that a lot of people didn't like that and were bored by it so he said he was going to put a stop to it. He talked about how many things that they can't do on the show anymore and how he can't wait to move to the new place so that's why he gets into it on the show every day. He went on to explain how he has created between 50 and 60 shows that he wants to produce for the new channels over there. He's got a lot of stuff in the works and he's planning on turning satellite radio into something more important than TV. He's already talked about the Heidi Cortez show and Fartman but he's got a lot more in the works.
Howard has one show called ''Crack Whore View'' that they will get crack whores to talk about as if they were the women from The View. They will talk about topics of the day and do that for a half hour a day. Robin wondered where they're going to find the crack whores. Howard isn't sure, he said that it was Benjy, Sal and Richard's idea so they'll have to figure that out. He mentioned another show called ''I Want to F a Porn Star'' where a guy will have the chance to bang a porn star on the air.
The caller asked Howard to play an old bit that he really liked since they were going to be packing up some stuff for their upcoming move. He wanted to hear the ''Mayberry KKK'' bit that they did years ago. Howard said they'd play that and some other classic bits that people want to hear. The caller asked Howard about how the Heidi Cortez thing is going to work. Howard went through the show and said that Heidi will tell some sex stories and then take some phone calls where she'll have phone sex with the callers on the air. He thinks that guys will get off to that and will be pleasuring themselves to that. Howard said that Heidi will also be allowed to invite guys to come in and do stuff with her in the studio if she wants.
Howard played a clip of Heidi Cortez doing her thing but there was a bleep when she mentioned the color of her hair... and it wasn't the color of her pubic hair, it was the color of the hair on her head. Tom Chiusano came in and said that he's not even sure why they bleeped that part of the bit. Howard asked Tom what kind of bits he wants to hear them play as they're going through the old stuff. Tom said that he has a long list of stuff that he's going through. He's even got some favorite commercial that Howard did where they made the most money for a single spot ever. It was $30,000 for one spot and the company bought 3 spots. Howard had to wrap up a short time later and said that he would be doing his goodbye to Las Vegas a little later in the show. He hasn't prepared anything other than pulling some bits. He said he's not even sure what to say because it's such a weird thing. He went to commercial right after that.
Howard let Marianne go and talked about the way things changed for him once he got out of Roosevelt Long Island and how he had such a poor education out there. He said when he moved to a new school they told him he would go from an A average to a D average because things were so different.
Howard played a new phone call that they made to Gary the Retard using clips of Heidi Cortez. They had to keep playing her asking him to take off his clothes for her because Gary kept interrupting the clips. Gary didn't get the whole phone sex thing so he ended up hanging up on Heidi. Robin said that she didn't think they'd ever get the first question out since Gary kept interrupting her. Howard had to go to break right after playing that bit.
Howard said he talked about how he called the Las Vegas affiliate on Friday and asked them to do a big final show thing where they would let the fans know of one place to go that they could all hang out at and say goodbye over the phone or something. That didn't go over too well out there so that won't be happening.
Howard was asked to play a classic bit that they created after this reporter Kay Gardella had given his pay-per-view event a really bad review even though she never saw the event. Howard called Kay on the air back then and asked her how she could review a program without having ever seen it. She said she didn't need to see it to give it the review but she may have caught some hell from the NY Daily News where she was working at the time. That all led to them doing a song parody called ''Inaccurate Writer'' to the tune of The Beatles ''Paperback Writer.'' Howard remembered how much she annoyed him back then after listening to the song.
Howard played some audio from an interview that Clif Pallete did down in Dallas over the weekend. Clif, who is barely understandable, asked people about the shooting of President Kennedy. The people that Clif was interviewing would give answers but they couldn't really understand him. Clif ended up asking one guy about his ball size and if he ever had any gay experiences but the guy had some trouble understanding him. He eventually got it and laughed at the question though. Howard said that he thought that Clif was shot by one of the bullets that hit Kennedy. In another clip Gary the Retard was asking people what they think of President Bush. Howard played another clip of Clif asking some people various questions but they were stumped by his questions. Clif was trying to ask one guy how he was being affected by Howard Stern's move to SIRIUS satellite but the guy didn't understand more than 2 words. Gary the Retard was his interpreter on that one. Clif then asked the guy how big his balls were and if he's ever had a gay experience.
Howard spent a couple of minutes talking about how Clif's mother never bothered to fix his cleft palette and how wrong that is. He wanted to talk more about that and play more audio from Clif's weekend but he had 50 Cent waiting to come in. He had to let Clif go so he could take a commercial break.
Robin mentioned that 50 had to wrestle some other naked guys in the movie so 50 had to explain that. There was a fight scene in a jail shower scene so that's what that was all about. 50 also told the guys that he had a love scene where he ended up wearing a sock on his wiener. He didn't wear one in the fight scene. Howard asked him how long that went on and 50 said it was just one take so it didn't go on too long. 50 said they were trying to wear biker shorts but they ended up getting too dark when they got wet so they had to shoot it in the nude. He said there were 5 people in the shower so that's how many guys he was wrestling with. There weren't any guys getting excited in the scene though.
Howard asked 50 about the woman who he had the love scene with, Joy Bryant, and if he got to do her for real. 50 said he didn't get to do her for real but he did get to pretend that he was. He let Howard know that her boobs were really nice because they stood straight up, even though they weren't that big. 50 said he didn't get aroused but Howard told him about how he was aroused the whole time he was shooting nude scenes in his movie ''Private Parts.'' 50 told Howard he got aroused and Joy was totally nude in the scene. He said that she was totally shaved and he got to touch all of that in the scene. 50 was wearing a sock on his junk so she didn't touch him, but he did get to touch her. Howard said he would probably do her even though he has no idea who she is. He asked 50 ''how many fingers'' but 50 just laughed after hearing that question. Once he saw pictures of Joy, Howard said he would have lost his wrist watch with that chick.
Howard gave 50 some plugs for his movie and then Robin mentioned that there's some controversy over the movie posters that are out there for the movie. They're actually taking them down because he's holding a gun in his hand. Howard quickly mentioned that he's glad 50 has an R-rated movie out because the SIRIUS ads for his show will be running before them.
Howard went through the list of people that 50 is feuding with. He said that Ja Rule is still on 50's list so they spent some time talking about that. Robin thought that 50 had a problem with Dr. Dre but 50 said that's not a problem now and they're cool. Howard read that 50 was having a feud with Kanye West but 50 said that's not true. They had Lil' Kim on the list as well so 50 went off on her a little bit. He was talking about her being the hip hop version of a porn star and talking about how she's a bit of a slut and she should stay that way.
Howard had a bit set up where they had a computer generated voice set up as Tom Chiusano. He wanted to ask 50 some questions. Here are some of the questions that the generated Tom voice asked:
Howard gave 50 a couple of plugs for his movie, the soundtrack for the movie Get Rich or Die Tryin' and a video game he's got coming out called ''50 Cent: Bulletproof''
Gary came in and got the name that 50 is registered under at the hotel so they can get in touch with those bitches of his. The delay was hit a couple of times as Howard was asking 50 about the type of chicks that he's banged. Gary came back a minute later and said that Tom told him that they've been asked to stop using the word ''bitches'' because they're using it too much. Howard said that there's nothing wrong with that word. Tom came in a short time later and told Howard it's not the use of the word, it's the repetitive, redundant use of the word. Gary asked Tom what the problem was because that word isn't part of the 7 dirty words. Tom said that he's not wrong so Howard asked Tom to end this ridiculous nonsense that they were putting him through. He told Tom that every time he does this, it's pushing people to satellite. He told Tom that he wants to go on a long vacation before he moves to his new home. Tom said that they used the term a thousand times in 5 minutes so Artie said that was the humor of the whole conversation. Tom told him he doesn't need a lecture on that stuff though. Howard was bummed out and said he really has to get out of there. 50 told Howard not to worry about it because he'll be out of there after the 16th and then he won't have to worry about it. 50 said he'll be coming on the show to have some real fun when they move over there. Howard took a few phone calls for 50 and then wrapped up the interview. 50 got in a bunch of plugs for the stuff that Howard had plugged and a few other things as well. As he was getting ready to leave he mentioned the bitches again so Tom came back into the studio. Howard ended it before it could get worse and went to break.
Howard said he went to the Knicks home opening game on Friday and Beth was wearing her SIRIUS t-shirt. He was sitting next to Chris Rock and Donald Trump at the game. Chris was apparently giving his own play-by-play of the game as it was going on. He explained how fun that was and how Beth's t-shirt made it into the paper over the weekend.
Simon Cowell came in a short time later. Howard asked him when American Idol starts up again. Robin said whenever it is, it's too soon for her. Simon called Robin ''Little one'' as he was saying hello to her so Howard said that's probably a name that Simon uses for his girlfriend. Simon said that's true and his girlfriend has given him a name that he's not thrilled with... pumpkin. Simon changed subjects and asked Howard when he's moving to the new place. Howard told him that his final live show will be on December 16th and then they move to the new place in January.
Howard read that Simon will never get married so he wondered if his girlfriend knows that. Simon said she does and when she asked him if they could have a baby, he suggested a tarapin, a type of turtle, instead. Simon asked the guys for a cup of tea but all Howard had to offer was a bottle of water. After that Simon told Howard about how he likes to try and forget about work about an hour before he goes to bed but his girlfriend will start in asking him questions about work around that time. He said she never stops asking questions though. Howard said that he gets that from the guys on the show all the time and has to answer some questions from his girlfriend. Howard asked Simon about his sex life but Simon wasn't into that.
Fred was playing some Taylor Rain porn tape audio in the background so that led to Artie saying that it was actually Paula Abdul and the kid from American Idol. Howard asked Simon to talk about that whole thing. Simon said he never asked Paula about it but he doesn't believe that the kid is telling the truth about it. Howard wondered how he could think that. Simon said that he never saw any inappropriate behavior from Paula although she did demonstrate some ''wacky'' behavior over the past few years. He said he feels that Paula is just looking for acceptance from people and that's why she acts the way she does. Howard wondered if Simon was ever into Paula and if he would have had sex with her. Simon said he was into her in the beginning but once he got to know her, he found that he wasn't into her anymore. He said waking up in the morning with her would have been hell. He was also saying that most people who are on TV are weird and admits that he's weird himself.
Howard asked Simon about Fantasia Barino and if her record sales disappoint him. Simon said that if she had performed songs like she performed on the show, her album would have sold better. She didn't sing in the same style on her album so they didn't sell as many as they would have liked. Howard and Simon also talked about Clay Aiken and some of the other ''stars'' from American Idol. The only person who has really made a huge star out of herself is Kelly Clarkson. Simon thinks that Carrie Underwood will be a big star as well because she's from middle America and that's who votes on the show.
Simon had gotten a cup of tea from Gary a little earlier but he wasn't able to get milk for that tea. The station doesn't provide that kind of stuff so they had a hard time making that happen. Gary came back in a short time later and told Howard that Simon's people were getting kind of antsy and wanted him to plug what he was there to plug. Howard read that Simon was being sued by Simon Fuller who created the American Idol show with Simon. The two of them work together and he's still being sued.
Howard had Eric the Midget on the phone to talk to Simon about getting a date with one of the stars on American Idol. Howard told Simon about who Eric was and how he's confined to a wheel chair. Simon told Eric that maybe he should go to someone who was in the top 100 finalists instead of one of the stars. Howard said that he'd do Kelly Clarkson if he had the chance because he ''likes that pudge.'' Eric was asking for date with Carrie Underwood but Simon didn't seem interested in helping and told Eric that it's just not going to happen. Gary told Simon that they were able to get Eric back stage not too long ago but he didn't work his magic then. Howard ended up giving Eric a $500 prize instead of a date. Gary is pretty sure that Eric hasn't heard them and he will still think that he can get a date with Carrie.
Howard gave Simon a plug for this show that he's working on called ''American Inventor'' where they try to find people who can invent stuff. Simon said that he promises Robin that she will watch the show even though she said it was a bad idea. Simon said that he loves the show as it airs over in England. Gary said that the wacky ideas that people have are the fun part to watch. They're looking for contestants for the show so Howard gave him a plug for AmericanInventor.tv. Simon said the contestants can be any age and show up with any drawings of their ideas, they don't have to be built.
Ralph called in and said that he kind of likes the inventor show idea. He also talked about how Randy Jackson was very disturbing looking last season so Simon told him that he's actually gained some weight since then. Ralph was also complaining about Simon's arm hair and how distracting it was last season. He suggested that he shave some of that down this season. Simon said he's never thought about doing that before. High Pitch Eric called in as Kelly Clarkson and asked Simon how big his genitals are. That went no where so Howard spent a couple of minutes talking to Simon about the real Kelly.
Sal the Stockbroker came in and asked Simon if he thinks that Clay Aiken is gay. Simon said he does not believe that he is. Howard had to wrap up with Simon a short time later because they had to get him out of there. Simon told Howard the next time he sees him he'll be ''in the sky'' at the new place. He said he can already tell that Howard is happier now that he's leaving. They had to go to break right after that.
Howard said he knows that trying to get ratings out in Vegas is tough but he as able to do it. He thanked the fans who always supported them out there. Even the Mayor came on the show and gave them a key to the city. Howard said they even went to see Siegfried and Roy just months before Roy's accident. They had fun doing that and coming up with the game ''BANGO'' and the Butterface Pageant out there. Then there was Artie's drunkenness which was unforgettable. He played some clips of Artie singing the Jennifer Halloway song as he was being walked back to his room after a show one day out in Vegas. Howard believes that many of his fans out in Vegas will follow him to the new place. He played some of David Bowie's ''Heroes'' as he was talking about that. He doesn't want any of his listeners to go away, but he knows that they can't all follow him over there. He said they'll only be separated until January 9th... for those who are going to come with him.
Howard mentioned a few of the things that happened out there in Vegas and how it's not going away, they'll be back out there to do it again some day. He played a clip of Fred singing karaoke out there. He played some of The Beatles' ''Imagine'' and talked about even more of the stuff they did out there. He played a clip of Gary singing karaoke horribly. He then thanked everyone out there for the good times once again. He played some more karaoke performances from when Robin did her song and when he did his Led Zeppelin performance.
A listener called in and thanked Howard for the 10 years of entertainment he's given him while he's been out there in Vegas. Howard thanked that guy and the fans out there for their support as well. Joey G from the Sopranos called in because he was part of the clip where Artie was being dragged back to his room completely drunk. Joey wished Howard luck in the upcoming year and told him that he has a show idea to pitch to him for his channels over there.
Howard said that this move is his checkmate to the FCC and they can't beat him. He said he's going to keep the show going and he's going to make it great. They played some more of Artie's drunken audio clip and had Nine Inch Nails' ''Hurt'' playing in the background as he did that. He let that song play through and let Robin say a few words to the Las Vegas fans. She also thanked them for always welcoming them out there so openly. Howard took a call from a guy who said he's really going to miss the show and won't be following them on SIRIUS. Artie then said a few words about how much fun he's had out there and how he's looking forward to going back out sometime. Fred and Gary said some final words as well. Howard told the caller to try and join them (at SIRIUS) if he can. The caller said he's going to try. As they were ending the call, the Nine Inch Nails song was ending so Howard used that as an end to his goodbye and went to commercial as the song ended.
During the news Howard mentioned that they'll be doing a tribute to Sam Kinison after Howard 100 News (on SIRIUS) sometime later this week. He didn't say what night that would be happening though.
Howard read through some e-mail he got about the way he was treating Mike Walker last Friday. A lot of people thought that they were kind of goofing on Mike and not being very nice to him. Howard and Artie said they were just having some fun busting Mike's balls. One writer said that most of the game was dumped that day and they missed out on what they were saying. There was a lot of feedback about the Sam Kinison stuff they played last week on the show. Howard said he'll have more Sam Kinison to play this week as well.
A Las Vegas listener called in during the news and told Howard how sad it is that he's leaving. He was also saying that he can't afford the satellite service so he won't be following him there. Howard told the guy that if he can afford to buy CDs and drugs, he can afford to get satellite. He said he'll be stating his case more on David Letterman's show on November 17th. Robin finished up her news and Howard ended the show around 10:30am. He quickly mentioned that Fred's daughter Tess turns 3 today as he was ending the show.

Yesterday Howard was suspended from his radio show so today started off a little different than it normally would... After the usual start to the show there was no Howard, just the Harry Nilsson song ''You're Breaking my Heart (So F**k You).'' After that whole song played through, we heard a little bit of another song which was Gary Jules ''Mad World'' and then some short clips of songs which included lyrics and songs about ''backstabbers'' and Led Zeppelin's ''Babe I'm gonna Leave You'' and ''I'm Free,'' ''Hey, hey, hey goodbye,'' ''In the end''(Linkin Park), ''The end of the innocence'' (Don Henley), ''This is the end'' (The Doors), ''Seen the Lights go out on Broadway'' (Billy Joel), ''I Feel Free'' (Cream), ''American Idiot'' (Green Day)... and then an intro where they talk about their goodbye on December 16th which led into a commercial break.
Artie goofed on Tom for coming in to straighten that out even though Howard had just mentioned that he wasn't crying. Tom can really slow the show down when it comes to that stuff. Howard got back to the discussion and talked about how he and Tom talked about the suspension that day. Howard said that they're now sending him legal letters from Infinity and he's feeling like they're preparing a case against him. He said he asked Tom if the suspension was with pay or not. He found out it was with pay so he went back to his office and tried to meditate. He just wanted to take a nap back there but he wasn't able to fall asleep so he left. He had a photo shoot later that day anyway.
Howard thought the suspension was kind of weird, almost like he was back in high school. He was going to call his parents to let them know what was going on. He didn't want them to get too worried about it since he is a 51 year old man who can handle things himself. He did his impression of his mother talking to him on the phone and created a conversation that might happen between them. He never did call his parents though, he had so many other things going on. He didn't really think about it until that night on Howard 100 News... which he referred to as ''the news.''
Howard didn't know what the suspension was all about because he didn't think he was talking that much about the new place. He figured that Joel Hollander might be upset about what he was saying about him. Tom suggested that Howard, Joel and Howard's agent have a meeting about that but Howard didn't want to work. Howard ended up going out to dinner with Beth on Monday night. Howard got up the next day and went to this meeting with Joel and his agent but they had a problem setting up the meeting spot. They had to find a neutral ground because Howard wouldn't go to Joel's office and Joel wouldn't go to Howard's apartment. They agreed to go to a restaurant called The Beacon instead. He said it was almost like a scene out of The Godfather. The meeting actually went pretty well at first. Don (Howard's agent) started it off and remained calm.
Joel apparently got loud and upset about the stuff Howard said about him on the air and about the promotion of the new place. Howard said he stayed quiet through most of the meeting but eventually said that this was all stupid and he only has 22 shows left to do on the air. He said he's happy with whoever replaces him and doesn't feel competitive with any of them. He told Joel that it's been a great thing working for Infinity for the past 20 years. The show was successful, the company was successful and they were able to merge with CBS. He said he was fine with everything until they (Infinity) took out a full page ad where they bashed him and his show. He doesn't get the hard feelings coming from Joel and the rest of the company. He knows they have to make new plans but he's not leaving because he doesn't like the company.
Howard says he's leaving the company because he can't do the show he wants to do due to the FCC and the way he's not allowed to speak like an adult. Joel apparently told Howard that he thinks he's a great radio personality so Howard asked him to just say that instead of bashing him in their advertising. Howard also told Joel that this whole satellite thing is it's infancy and it's not a threat to terrestrial radio (at this time).
Joel was kind of upset about the things Howard said about him so Howard had to explain to him that he does that when his back is up against the wall. Joel thought that Howard had wished cancer on him but Howard wasn't sure he did that... but he doesn't actually have the power to give him cancer, so he shouldn't be so worried about it. He was also saying that he doesn't have the ability to expand his show on terrestrial radio so that's why he's leaving.
Howard said that his listeners are fascinated by his life and they want to know what his plans are. He thought he was operating in a way that didn't promote the new service but he would look at it and change things if he has to. Joel asked Howard not to pre-promote things on Sirius so Howard agreed not to do that. He said Joel told him that he can let callers comment on the stuff after it's happened but no promotion of the stuff.
Howard said he told Joel that he can suspend him any time he wants to, he actually enjoyed the day off. He said that Joel was kind of upset about being called a ''House Negro'' but that never happened either. Howard wasn't calling Joel the name, he was referring to some other people by that name but it was the djs who are bashing him that are the house negros.
Howard claims that everything was cool after the meeting with Joel and they all shook hands at the end. He said he's back on the air. The suspension just promoted the move to the new place, which Howard is still referring to ''Eh, he ehh.'' He wanted to play an audio clip from a news report where they talk about the suspension and the move to SIRIUS so Tom might be hitting the delay on it.
Howard talked about how the news (Howard 100 News) had a guy commenting on the office furniture and how they should have given Howard more of a budget because he is going to be the king over there. Howard said he thought he was doing good by keeping his spending under budget and this guy was bashing him for it. He thought it was weird that they were getting on his ass about not spending a lot of money. The news team is really on the ball over there but Howard really wanted to call in and go off on them for that report. He's not allowed on the air there though so he can't do that.
Robin said that she was driving to her vacation home yesterday for her ''suspension'' and thinking about how there are only 24 shows left so taking him off the air now is just dumb. Howard figures that fans would be burning their radios if they did that.
Howard took a call from Mariann from Brooklyn and talked to her about the 25 people that showed up to the demonstration rally the wack pack held at the station yesterday. Howard heard there were only 9 people there but Mariann said there were 25... not 25,000.. Twenty five people. Mariann said it was about quality, not quantity. Howard ended up hanging up on her because her voice was hard to take this morning.
Gary came in and gave Howard one of the news clips from last night's news but he wasn't sure if he could play it so he asked Tom to come in and tell him. Tom first said that he wasn't a ''house negro'' like one caller had just called him. Tom gave Howard permission to play it and said that he saw the protest going on yesterday and all 10 people who showed up to it. Howard was going to play the clip but it turned out to be a CBS report instead.
The caller Howard had on the line told him that SIRIUS Canada won't be carrying him up there. Howard doesn't know why that is and why Canada won't allow him on the air up there, even on satellite. He said there's just something about him. Meanwhile, there's tons of porn up there in Canada. Gary came in and asked Howard how to cut the clip from the news because he was told not to let certain things on the air. Howard asked him to just pull what he could and not bleep out all of the references to ''Eh, eh, ehh.''
Howard told Ralph that this is not the time to be sending him scripts and stuff. He already spoke to him about the concept he has for the show and it should have been done already. He said he's done with Ralph and he needs him to do the Super Fan Round Table and not the show he's trying to do. Then Ralph said that he gave Howard a concept for the logo over there but Howard said that wasn't the case. Howard said he listened to Ralph but he came up with the logo when he went to a place called Euro. Ralph denied saying that the concept was his but he had just said it. Ralph thought that he was being misunderstood and took back what he was saying.
Howard told Ralph, once again, that he has to get stuff off his plate because he's got so much going on right now. He's really busy right now and can't wait for Ralph and his nonsense. He told Ralph that a guy pitched him a show last week, came up with a tape and now he'll be on the air next week. He didn't say who that was though. Ralph said he doesn't want to do a crappy show like everyone else has so far. Howard told Ralph he was done with him now and he should go over and talk to Scott (Greenstein) about helping out with the creative part of the promotion and stuff over there. All of this was insane to Howard and Ralph is spending too much time on all of this. He let him go after that.
Robin told Howard that Eric the Midget is worth his weight in gold on Eh, he, he because he said something really funny on the news the other night. Howard said that if he is worth his weight in gold, he only weighs about 9 pounds so it's not all that much. He had to take a break but spent a minute explaining how he wants to move on and stay on track for the final 20-some shows he's got left. He won't promote the stuff that's coming up on Eh, eh, ehh but he can't avoid talking about it completely. They went to commercial right after that.
A woman called in and told Howard that she lives up in Canada and wondered why they can't do more about getting him on SIRIUS Canada. Howard told the woman they really have to stand up to the Canadian government. They kicked him off in Montreal and Toronto because of the government. They're not worried about the hard core porn they have up there but his radio show they are worried about.
Howard talked about how he voted yesterday in the election. He spent a minute on that and then got back to Geraldo. Geraldo told Howard that he really thinks that he has changed the face of radio and it's going to be jarring for people when he leaves. He thinks that people will move on to the new service and it will become very big. He was also saying that he's amazed that Infinity didn't fire him as soon as he made the announcement last year. Howard thought that was kind of weird as well.
Howard asked Geraldo about his marriage and having kids in his 60s. They talked about that and the kind of money Geraldo has to pay to his many ex-wives. Howard asked Geraldo how he can work at FOX news with his beliefs and thoughts on all of the war stuff. That led to them talking about how Geraldo has gone over to Iraq and almost pretends to be in the war himself.
Howard got back to Geraldo and his new kid. Geraldo is 62 years old and has a new baby. He said that you can't marry a woman of child bearing age and not give her a baby. He feels that he's in great shape and could kick the ass of anyone his age. Gary came in a short time later and brought up some stuff he saw in the notes about Geraldo. There was something about him going down to New Orleans and pushing someone out of the way to get a story. Geraldo said that they eventually retracted that story because it was untrue.
Howard heard that Geraldo was one of the guys that Infinity approached to replace him. Geraldo said that was true and he was trying to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. He said he talked to some of the Infinity guys and did a weekend show on KLSX out in L.A. as a test. They offered him some good money to do it but he chose not to do it. Now he's going to do a show against Oprah's and Howard thinks he's going to fail if he doesn't do the outrageous stories like he used to do. Geraldo doesn't believe that will be the case though.
Gary asked Geraldo about bringing a couple of hookers to a bar mitzvah many years ago. Geraldo said that was a true story but it was a really long time ago. Howard gave Geraldo a plug for his new show, Geraldo At Large, which airs at 4, check your local listings for more details. The guys asked Geraldo if he was really going to shave his moustache if Michael Jackson had been found guilty. Geraldo said the would have done that and he has been thanked by Michael for the support. While he was talking about that he mentioned some of the places he owns and how he still owns a helicopter and lives a great life.
Geraldo asked Howard when he's going to marry Beth since he's been messing around with her for so long. Howard told him that they're very happy and he doesn't want to screw that up so they're not getting married. Howard took some phone calls after that and let a few people talk to him. Robin was also pointing out how Geraldo has finally figured out that he can't cheat on his wives and it's too bad it took him so long to realize he can't do that. Howard took a couple more calls and let some people voice their opinions on his move to satellite. Geraldo asked Howard what he thinks will happen to terrestrial radio when he leaves. Artie laughed and said ''Three words... David Lee Roth.'' Howard thought that was a little rough, the guy hasn't had a chance to do his show yet. Artie said he didn't say a thing, he was just saying that's what will happen to radio.
Howard said that Gary kind of freaked out yesterday when Howard was suspended. Gary ended up packing up a bunch of their personal belongings to make sure they didn't lose anything important. The Gary Puppet is gone and so are Howard's office pictures. Howard started to wrap up after that and gave Geraldo a plug for his new TV show again.
Howard asked Geraldo how much sex he's having these days and bragged that he does it about 3 times a week. Geraldo said that 3 times a week is about the minimum that a couple should be doing it to keep the relationship going strong. Howard asked him if his wife still dresses up in outfits and stuff. Geraldo was saying that they have a great time and he still enjoys the 3 month old kid and dealing with that as well. Howard thinks that when Geraldo turns 75, his wife will be 42 and she'll be too old for him. Howard ended the interview a short time later.
Howard said he had the audio from Howard 100 News where they talked about his furniture shopping at Pottery Barn. He played the clip and you hear George Flowers talking about how they're finishing up Howard's studio over there and now his girlfriend is helping to decorate it. Another reporter talks about how Beth is going to Pottery Barn to furnish the apartment but other people are saying that buying from just one store isn't right. Howard said he didn't like Beth talking about how he likes the window display at Pottery Barn because they don't mention that the budget for the office was $10,000. He was upset about that part of the report. One guy described Howard's office as having a ''meditation chair'' but Howard said it's just a chair, not a ''meditation chair'' as it was described. That was another thing he was upset with. An editor from ''Budget Living'' talked about how an office should never be furnished with stuff from just one store because it will end up looking like a showroom.
Howard said that he's never talking to that news team again after hearing that report. He continued to play the report and another person was asked about the office and said that they should have spent $60,000 on the office. Howard said that he was asked where he wanted his office over there so he told them that he just needed a tiny space to relax in. He doesn't use an office that much so he didn't need a huge room. He didn't need a lot of fancy furniture or anything so that's why he did the Pottery Barn thing. The office is only 9x13 so it's really small. He figured it was about the size of Robin's news booth but she said her booth isn't even that large. Howard really wanted a rebuttal to that story they did about his office but he can't go on the air over there.
Artie likes that this guy is causing an uproar and he really shouldn't be suspended. They played more tape of Terrell talking about his suspension and how he just wanted to be in the game to help the team win. He apologized to his team in the press conference he had yesterday. He also talked about how he has respect for Donovan McNabb but he turned around and stabbed him in the back when he did another interview.
Ralph called in a short time later to talk about what Terrell was saying and to give his thoughts on what was going on. Howard said he thinks that the Eagles should just let him go and let another team pick the guy up. Will Murray came in and told Howard that he hates Terrell and another guy by the name of Drew Rosenhouse. He hates the guy so much that he was saying he hopes that he gets raped. He went off on him for a short time and got the delay hit on him a couple of times. Robin said Will threw down the headphones as he was leaving the studio. No one could figure out why he was that upset.
Howard played more tape of the press conference that Terrell did. Then Tom Chiusano came in and said that everyone was missing the point that Terrell was asked to apologize to a few people and instead of going to each of them, he went to the press and held the press conference instead. Howard thinks that the guy should still be allowed to go work for another team if he wants. He played more of the audio from the press conference where Terrell's agent explained what Terrell was trying to do and how the media hadn't been fair to him. The agent did a lot of yelling and didn't answer a lot of the questions he was being asked.
Howard had a lot of other stuff to get to but he said he had to take a break. They had Joe Frazier waiting to come in and 60 Minutes was there waiting to come in during the Joe Frazier interview. He said that they've been shooting a ton of material for that interview and even went with him to a Knicks game the other night. He mentioned that he's got some other interviews in the works but not a lot of stuff. Gary asked Howard if he's going to be making any trips to Leno's show. Howard said he's not making any trips out to L.A. He said he guesses he would do it but he's not sure. He has problems with Leno and he's not sure Jay would want him on the show anyway. He said he probably wouldn't be comfortable going on the show at this point. He had also talked about going on QVC but they'd have to work out a whole deal with Eh, ehh, ehh. Howard said he'll be doing an interview with Katie Couric soon too so that should be pretty uncomfortable.
Howard remembered the promotion he's done in the past and how he got dissed by people like Pat Sajak and Jay Leno years ago. He said that Pat walked off of Wheel of Fortune and Vanna White had to work with him instead. Then there was the time that Jay Leno walked off his own show when Howard brought the lesbians on the show with him.
Howard said that Pam Anderson never called in and if she does, they have to have some rules on the show and can't interrupt Joe Frazier's interview to talk to her. Gary said he got a note from her people this morning asking if they could have her call in at 9 o'clock instead of 8:15. He said he figured they were leaving it at 8:15 since he didn't get the note until this morning. Howard went to break a short time later.
Howard had the guys bring in Joe Frazier who was in to promote his new book ''Box Like the Pros.'' Howard said that Joe was wearing a white suit and it was too late in the year for that. Joe said that it was blue though. Joe doesn't care what time of year it is, he wears the same thing all year long. Howard went on to tell Joe that he's been one of the best guests on the show. Not only that but they share the same birthday.
Howard read a quote from Joe from back in 1996 where he talks about Mohammed Ali and the way the guy treated him. Howard brings this stuff up each time Joe is on the show. He read the whole quote about Ali that was pretty brutal. Joe said that Ali is kind of down and out right now so he wasn't going to say anything bad about him. He said he's not sure if he would go to his funeral or not. Howard wondered how he could let the guy off the hook after he was treated so poorly. Joe said that was a long time ago and it doesn't seem to mean so much now.
Howard said that Joe's two fists could have been the things that brought the Parkinson's disease to Ali but Joe said he doesn't believe that. Robin also said that Ali fought a bunch of other guys after Frazier so he wasn't the only one to punch him. Howard asked him if he gave Michael J. Fox Parkinson's disease too but Joe had no idea who that was.
Howard asked Joe when the last time was that he had sex with a woman. Joe said he can't remember the last time that happened. Howard thought he was full of it because he's a ladies man and he has to be getting laid. Howard asked Joe about Ali's funeral again and if he'd go and maybe bring a really hot chick to have sex with at the funeral. Joe asked Howard to back off a little bit when they were talking about all of that stuff. They got back to the book and talked a little bit about that.
Howard told Joe that he's been a great guest on the show over the past 20 years. One great moment was when Joe told the story about cutting his toe off with his lawn mower. He also told Joe about how he's going to be leaving that radio station soon and will be moving to a new place where they can curse. Joe didn't have any idea so Howard told him about how they're going to talk about women in a way they've never talked about them before. He wants Joe to use the C-word for a woman's private parts when they move over there. He asked him if he'd be willing to do that and Joe said he might just be able to do that.
Howard said that he loved the time that Joe sang the love song to Robin on the show years ago. He sang a little bit of that song for Robin once again this morning. He also said that he's still willing to have sex with Robin but he knows that Robin is in love with ''that other guy'' (Ali). Howard asked him to sing something else for Robin so Joe sang a little bit of another song for her. Howard liked that one.
Joe told Howard that he's been dating a woman who's about 35 years old so the guys told him that was great. Joe said he hasn't moved her into his house yet though. She is ''Light, bright and almost white'' according to Joe. He said his cut off age is about 39 right now so he won't date anyone older than that.
Howard took a call from someone claiming to be Mohammed Ali who just made some suffocating sounds as if he were dying. Gary came in and asked if Joe and Mohammed buried the hatchet for financial reasons. Joe said that wasn't why they did it, it was because they have daughters who are fighting each other and there's no reason to carry that grudge anymore. Howard started to wrap up with Joe a short time later and mentioned to Joe that they had the 60 Minutes crew in there taping them. He gave Joe another plug for his book and said that he'll be signing copies at the Barnes and Nobel on 5th Ave. in Manhattan this afternoon at 1pm. He's also going to be hosting a Learning Annex at the Jacob Javits Center on December 8th. Howard thanked Joe for being a great friend to the show and let him go a short time later.
Howard took a call from Wendy the Retard who was talking to someone in her room. She wasn't answering Howard so they just listened to her for a few seconds. She eventually got on the phone and told Howard how pissed she was about what they did to him yesterday by suspending him. Howard said he had a good day and was able to get organized on his day off. He explained how he and Joel Hollander worked things out in a meeting yesterday and it looks like he'll be on the air for a few more days, 23 at the most.
Wendy wrote a song for Howard so she performed that for him over the phone. She said she's still working on the song so she only had about 2 lines done. Howard played some of her other past performances from the show where she's done some karaoke versions of certain songs. He heard that and said he came up with a new idea for a radio show. He was going to call it ''Retarded Karaoke.'' Artie suggested ''Retarded Pop Idol'' instead since ''Retarded Karaoke'' is kind of redundant. Howard asked her if she'd do it nude and Wendy said she would, Howard said they had themselves a TV show. He played a couple more of her clips but the delay was hit for some reason. Howard gave her a $500 prize and let her go.
Mad Russian told Howard that he's looking forward to the new shows and all of the ideas they have are sounding good to him. He said he just hopes he's here in the U.S. when they move over there. Howard thanked him for that and wished him luck as he let him go. He said he can't imagine what it would be like to get sent to a country, dropped off in an airport and left to fend for himself.
Tom said he got a call from the news team but he refused to talk to them. No one knows who the leak is. Tom said that he did talk to Sam Benrubi over at SIRIUS but he didn't give him the details of what went on between he and Gary. Gary said that the news team had the information almost immediately though. Tom thinks that someone in the halls must have overheard the conversation as they were walking down the hall or something. Howard thinks that they may have Gary's teeth bugged and there may be a reporter hiding in his mouth.
Ronnie came in and said that he got a call from the news team and they already had the story before they called him. Howard wondered if it's Dead Air Dave because he's heard that Dave hates hitting the button on them and hates sitting next to Tom all morning. Howard decided to move on to Robin's news after that.
Eric and Mariann were arguing about who actually organized the rally. Eric insists that he did while Mariann was taking credit for actually making it happen. Mariann told him to tell the truth for the first time in his life and let everyone know who organized it. Howard said it was the two most annoying voices in the world on the phone arguing with each other.
Howard let Eric and Mariann go and took a call from Ralph. Ralph said that the news organization over at Howard 100 isn't really checking their facts with some of their stuff. He said that they reported some stuff wrong about when he hooked up with the show for the first time. It turns out that Gary had given them some bogus information.
Howard had Jason come in to talk about what he's heard about Ralph hanging out over there at Eh, ehh, ehh and how he walks in and out of people's offices all day long. Ralph started to talk about some of the great stuff they have over there but Howard had to cut him off because he didn't want to talk about it and get suspended again. He went to break right after that.
Howard started off the show saying that he has 22 (21 after today) live shows left to do before they leave. After that he talked about how many people are calling him a wimp for not going off on his bosses after returning from his suspension. He read an article that John Mainelli wrote for the NY Post where he basically said that Howard was a pussy. Howard said that everyone has the wrong idea about what went on. He talked about how he really doesn't want to be where he is now and he told Joel that suspending him really did nothing. He said that even if they suspended him every day he wouldn't care. He claims that he didn't offer any apologies to Joel and just told them how he felt. He's glad that he's leaving and he had no reason to be upset about the suspension because either way, he's going to satellite.
Howard hasn't been able to do the show he's wanted to do for the past 10 years or so and making that move will allow him to do it. Being on the air is terrific according to Howard so it allows him to say goodbye to his audience so he applauds Infinity for keeping him on the air. He talked about how John Mainelli must really hate him for writing an article like that. He wondered if these guys want him to shoot Joel Hollander in the head or something.
Howard said he heard people saying on Howard 100 News last night that he pussied out too. He doesn't think that's the case. Gary couldn't believe that people were saying that kind of stuff either. He guesses that people just want him to be the guy that says 'F-you' to everyone he has to deal with like that.
Howard said he has to ask Tom about doing certain things on the air these days otherwise, he'll hit the delay on them and no one will hear it. He explained how he's got to take his discussions about his upcoming move to other shows like David Letterman's show when he really should be allowed to do it there on his radio show. They won't allow him to talk about it though so he has to go to other shows and give them advertising revenue, instead of his own show.
Howard talked about how there were a couple of senators on C-Span arguing about Howard being on Armed Forces radio. He doesn't get that and he doesn't get why John Mainelli thinks that he ''limped'' back on the air yesterday. He figured that people would have thought he handled things the right way and got back to doing his job. Howard said the only thing that suspension did was piss off the audience.
The one guy on Howard 100 News who said that Howard pussied out really seemed to bother him. He said he thinks that he has already won and getting out of there is the best thing for him. Robin said that maybe John Mainelli is trying to butter up Joel so he can get his own show with Infinity. They earlier said that Mainelli was a failed radio guy so maybe he's got some jealousy toward Howard.
Howard said he understands why Infinity is upset that they're losing his show but if they go ahead and bad mouth him, he's going to fight back. He will wish cancer upon people and make fun of them and their families. He has no power to actually give cancer to someone though. He said he's wished cancer and AIDS on people over the years and none of them have ever gotten it because of that. He's still waiting for all of that to kick in but it just doesn't happen.
Howard was hoping that the company was going to fight the FCC but it never happened, they just paid the fines. That led to him talking about how Clear Channel doesn't deserve any money from his fans because they fired him for no good reason. They're the ones who really wimped out and paid fines without fighting them. He suggested that any time you see the name Clear Channel that you avoid listening to radio or going to concerts.
Howard read another article by David Hinckley who isn't a big fan of Howard's, but he got the story right. He read through that article quickly and then took a call from King of All Blacks who got him talking about how he's really not a threat to terrestrial radio once he moves to satellite. Howard said he told the guys at Infinity that they could fire him if they wanted to and he wouldn't care. King spent a few minutes talking to Howard about that.
Howard took some other phone calls and let a few more people comment on his suspension. One guy said he didn't think Howard was a wimp for doing what he did. Howard said he felt like the most powerful guy in the room when he went to the meeting with Joel on Tuesday. He wasn't the one yelling and screaming, it was Joel. Everyone else was yelling and screaming because they're the ones without any power. He said that this is a check mate to the religious right and the government. He's going to be making more money at the new place and he'll have freedom to do anything he wants.
Bong Hit Bill (Actually Eric) called in and said it's enough of this stuff, he's tired of hearing about this stuff. Howard said he didn't want to keep talking about it and tried to quickly mention it yesterday and then move on. Now people are calling him a wimp for not going off on the company. Bill (Eric) told Howard that it's not fun. Howard was confused because he has people telling him to stop talking about it and others saying that he hasn't talked enough about it.
Howard said that they have a bunch of guests coming in today including George Takei, Dennis Rodman and Mark Harris. He said that Takei has just come out of the closet and should be talking about that. Bong Hit didn't remember who Mark Harris was because of all of the pot smoking. In honor of that he took a big hit off his bong for Howard and the guys. He lit up and choked on the smoke for a few seconds. He said he's got to get some better weed though. The guys spent a few minutes talking about the pot smoking. Bong Hit wakes up every morning and starts smoking right away. Gary came in and said that the guys in the back think that Bong Hit is a lonely guy because he asks people from the show to go to concerts and shows. Howard let him go a short time later and went to break.
Howard played a new prank call they made using clips of Richard Simmons talking about gay stuff. They took Richard's book on tape and cut them up to make him say all kinds of gay stuff. The woman ended up hanging up on the phony Richard once and then called him a fag.
Howard brought up Mark's marriage to Martha Raye and said that she was in a really bad state at the time. Mark ended up inheriting her money and that made him think that he was a really creepy guy at the time. He told Mark he still feels that way. Gary told Howard earlier that Mark was talking to him about how he was there to see Kitty Carlisle do a show there in the city. Howard said that there's no straight man who would know that Kitty Carslisle is performing in the city. Gary came in and told Howard that it's the details that Mark knows that show how gay he is though. He gave Howard some of the lines Mark gave him earlier.
Howard took a call from a guy who wanted Mark off the air already and he was only in for about 5 minutes. Captain Janks called in and asked Mark to do him a favor and die. He also called him a freakazoid before Howard hung up on him. Mark doesn't seem to care about the phone calls much though.
Howard asked Mark about the appearance he did the last time he was up there and how only about 4 people showed up to the event. Gary came in and said that a fan of theirs shot some video of that show and there were about 4 people there. Mark claims that there were actually a lot of people there and he has video of that. Mark was also saying that he had a meeting up at Clear Channel and they're thinking about giving him his own 3 1/2 hour show. Gary told Howard that the show would be airing from 1am to 4:30am. Howard said he doesn't even believe they'd give him those hours. Mark said he'd be going on before Mancow.
Vinnie Favale from CBS called in to tell a story about Mark. He said he loves Mark but went on to tell this story about how Howard hooked him up with him. Mark sends him all kinds of video and stuff and Vinnie has them all. He said that he has about 5 videos of pilots that Mark wanted to create. Vinnie has some video of Mark and Boris taking their buttermilk baths. Mark asked Howard if he would come on his radio show if he asked. Howard said he would absolutely do that and wouldn't miss it.
Howard asked Mark to sing a song for them this morning as a goodbye to terrestrial radio. Howard had some audio beds for Mark to sing along to so he played one and let Mark sing in the worst way. Mark said that the music was a Leo De Lion production. Fred played a bunch of gay porno clips in the background as Mark was singing. Howard took one final call after that and let a woman talk about how much she loves Mark Harris. She said she thinks that Mark is amazing and wants Howard to stay on the air so Mark can continue to come on. Howard wrapped up with him after that and went to commercial break.
Howard took a call from a woman who was very excited to talk to Howard. She started to break down and cry a minute later when she told Howard that she misses them in Vegas. Howard said he doesn't understand the company ending the show early out there in Vegas. The woman said she doesn't understand it and has called them so much that they now hang up on her. Howard asked her if she could possibly be hot. She said she's not bad and she's not that heavy. Gary came in and told Howard that this woman has been on hold since last night at 7:30! The DJs picked her up last night and kept her on hold all this time. Howard decided to put her back on hold after hearing that. Artie said that the next person who picks up the phone will be David Lee Roth... on January 3rd.
Another caller told Howard that all of his fans will eventually follow him over to the new place. He also said that Howard should have popped Joel Hollander in the head with a champagne bottle at the meeting he had on Tuesday. The guy was very talkative and laughed at himself as he was talking to him. Howard barely got in a word while the guy was on the phone so he let him go and moved on.
Howard said that he was listening to the Howard 100 News last night and wanted to fight back after hearing the one guy call him a wimp. The news team is taking live calls and messages from fans who want to leave their feedback.
He then moved on to play an audio clip of actor Jared Leto getting all political at some event he was at. Howard and the guys goofed on him about the speech he made since it was so lame. Howard said that the guy is a good looking guy though so a lot of women are going to listen to him.
Howard brought up the fact that he got bleeped on Monday because he was using the word ''bitch'' too much according to Tom Chiusano. He and 50 Cent were talking about the girls that 50 was hanging out with and they were referring to them as bitches. Howard played a couple of songs that they play on his station where they use the word bitch. There were a few songs that he played where the word Bitch is used over and over again. He said that was the most ridiculous morning of his life when Tom told him they were worried about getting fined for using the word bitch.
Howard said that people want to hear what he has to say and being worried about the Arab people hearing what he has to say is ridiculous. They let Rush Limbaugh say whatever he wants so he should be allowed on as well.
Howard said that Ralph's attitude was kind of crappy and when he said that he could get things done quicker if someone would pay him, it really bummed him out. Ralph said they cut that stuff up and didn't play all of what he said. He said he has the ability to get things done by their deadlines. He doesn't do that enough according to Howard though. Ralph told Howard that he has gone to meetings and stuff about the show he's trying to create for Howard 100 but Howard doesn't seem to think he's been getting the job done.
Howard said that the fans really gave Ralph a beating last night. His name comes up quite often when they want to bash someone on the show. Howard said that he had to get Dennis Rodman in there so he was going to wrap up. Ralph had a few more complaints though and said that the news director made it seem like he was asking for a show all about himself and that's not what he was doing.
Howard said that he got some mail from a guy in San Diego who says that they've been playing pig sound effects over the show without their knowing it. Fred said that a lot of people think that it's him doing it but it's really not. It's the San Diego station playing the clips to make it seem like they're ruining their own show. Gary said that he heard the L.A. Station has been playing a bunch of negative clips during the show as well. His friend told him that they play a clip that says something about ''The respirator is almost off'' as some kind of dig toward Howard's show. Howard said that this is just going to piss off his fans and chase them away even faster.
Gary said that they've been getting calls like this from all over the country. He said that the company has actually running contests where they tell people to call in when they hear certain sounds and that's where the pig sounds might be coming in. Howard said they wouldn't have done this in the past and now they're doing it without his knowledge which he takes as a hostile move. He wonders why they would leave him in the dark over that. Infinity doesn't keep them informed so they don't get freaked out and complain about it on the air. Howard complained about that for a minute and then went to break.
Howard said that Dennis claims that Carmen Electra was the love of his life and still is. Dennis said that she was good but that might not be the case now. Dennis was almost back pedaling and saying that she's not the love of his life. He wanted to talk about other stuff. Dennis said that he's married now and can't be saying stuff like that. Howard also read that when Carmen had sex with him the first time, she called him the N-word many times. Dennis said she was just having fun with him and it wasn't a racial thing at all. Howard said when a chick calls a guy by that name, she's very aware of race. Dennis thought that it had slipped out from her because he had given it to her so hard. The delay was hit at least once during this discussion without explanation.
Howard read a bunch of other stuff about Dennis and Carmen's relationship and it sounds like they were having a lot of fun. He asked Dennis how he let that go. Dennis said that he wasn't able to keep his thing in his pants and ended up with some other women, that's how he screwed it up. Howard tried to explain something that happened to him with Carmen one time when they both got arrested. As Howard was explaining the story the delay was hit multiple times. It had something to do with shoving pasta where the ''sun don't shine'' to block him up so he wouldn't make a mess on the bed. That's when Dennis ''shoved her.'' The cops were called and they were arrested for their fight. The delay kept getting hit during the discussion so we missed out on quite a bit of the conversation.
Howard read that Dennis was dating his wife while he was dating Carmen Electra at the same time. Dennis said that his current wife was married back then so she didn't get jealous back then. Carmen didn't know that he was doing it at the time either. Howard brought up the fact that Madonna once asked Dennis to knock her up but it didn't work. Howard talked about Dennis breaking his penis but the delay was hit each time they mentioned the word ''penis.''
In Dennis' book he claims that the Knicks wouldn't hire him because they thought he was gay. Dennis explained how he was on The View one day and he cracked a joke about being gay and that's what led to the call from the Knicks telling him they didn't want him. This interview was censored so much that it was hard to follow any one discussion. Even when Dennis was talking about the Knicks thing, the delay was hit.
Howard talked to Dennis about how he doesn't talk to his 16 year old daughter and how sad that is. Dennis told him that he doesn't try to force the issue because she has a couple more years before she can come and see him herself. She did write him a letter a while back asking him for a CLK 500. Dennis said his ex-wife makes it hard for him to visit his daughter. They live pretty far apart and she wants to put him on a schedule he just can't do.
Howard asked Dennis about his sex life and if he's cheating. Dennis said that he and his wife live in two separate houses and that makes things work better for them. Howard asked Dennis if he would go back to Carmen Electra if she asked him to come back. Dennis said he wouldn't. Howard gave him a plug for his book and said he'll be out signing copies of it later this afternoon. He also thanked him for coming in over all these years and for being a friend of the show.
Richard Christy came in and said that he's a big fan of Carmen Electra's and would like to smell Dennis' private parts. Dennis said it's been a long time since he was with her so there wouldn't be much there to smell. Howard asked Dennis who he thinks is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Dennis said that after being with so many women, that kind of stuff doesn't effect him anymore. Dennis also said that if he were Dave Navarro, he'd have sex with Howard. That led to Howard asking Dennis how long it's been since he had sex with a guy. Dennis said that's never happened. He has let guys kiss his chest but he's never had sex with them.
Howard asked him if he'd ever do someone like Oprah. Dennis said he's been with a 200 pound 5'5'' tall woman but he would never do Oprah. Not for all the money in the world. He said he couldn't get it going for Star Jones either. He talked more about the fat chick he had and said that happened before he was in the NBA. Howard wrapped up with him a short time later and went to break.
Howard told George about the interviews they did with a bunch of barber shops and asked him if he knew how much controversy there would be when he came out. George said that he didn't know it would be so crazy and has gotten a lot of e-mail about it. Howard played him the tape of the interviews they did with the barber shop people. There were a lot of people who thought he shouldn't have come out of the closet. George said that people like to think in stereotypes and they shouldn't believe what they see on TV and shouldn't be so effected by what his true life is like. Howard wondered if George's appearances will still go on as they have in the past now that he's known as being gay. George said that most of the feedback he's been getting is positive so he thinks that everything will be fine.
Howard asked if they would be taking away his Admiral's stripes now that he's come out. George laughed and didn't answer that. Howard asked George if he ever tried to hide his homosexuality back when he was on Star Trek. George said he did have ''beards'' back then who he would use to cover up. He has had sex with women in the past as well.
George brought up this play Equus that he's starring in out in Los Angeles through December 4th. He mentioned some of the stuff that they do in the play and how there is some gay stuff in it. Howard asked him if there are any other gay people from the cast of Star Trek. George said that there are none that he knows of. Howard asked him if he was attracted to anyone on the show. George wasn't into anyone on the show but he did like a guest star by the name of Michael Forrest but he didn't come on to him because he was acting as a professional. Takei said that he wasn't attracted to William Shatner and he never got to see Leonard Nimoy's package.
Howard asked George if he thinks William Shatner would have ridiculed him about his homosexuality. George said he doesn't believe that would have happened and he was very professional back then. Howard asked George some questions about being gay but there were some things that he didn't want to talk about. George told Howard that talking about this stuff now so openly is amazing. It wouldn't have been possible back when he was a teenager.
Takei also said that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a dangerous politician. He used to say positive things about gays and lesbians but wouldn't pass a bill that would allow same sex marriage. He said that Schwarzenegger lied to everyone and that's very dangerous.
Howard asked George if he's attracted to him at all. George said he is kind of attracted to him and he would think about having sex with him. Howard thought that George was saying that he's got to be the bottom in the relationship but George wasn't saying that. Howard told him that he's going to have him on his satellite radio show and will do him right there in the studio.
George was telling Howard how much he respects his right to do what he wants to do on the radio and how wrong it is that they won't allow him to do it on terrestrial radio. Takei remembered the first time he talked to Howard and how he immediately said that he must have a big dong because his voice was so deep. That was many years ago and he still won't talk about the size of his 'dong.'
Howard read that George met his boyfriend in a gay running club and he wasn't aware there was such a thing. George told Howard about the meeting and how he hooked up with the guy. Howard asked George how many guys he's been with and how he used to meet men. George said there used to be Gay Bath Houses and that's where he would go. He didn't have a number when Howard asked him how many men he's been with. Robin asked him if he ever used a glory hole. George sounded surprised that she knew about them and wanted to know how she found out about them. Robin also asked him if he has ever stepped out on his boyfriend in the 18 years they've been together. George started to go on and on about same sex relationships and how they're even more committed than most straight couples. George said that he's committed to Brad and has never cheated on him.
Howard asked George if he's totally shaven down below. George said that he's not. Ralph called in and asked Howard to replay the interview from the beginning because it's so great. He told a story that Sam Simon told him about the time he taped some stuff for The Simpsons and how they had an attractive Personal Assistant there who was helping George out with stuff and he'd come up with all kinds of excuses to have him come over. George said he's known many guys by the name of Joe so he wasn't sure about that one.
Howard gave George a plug for the Equus play he's in and took some more phone calls. One caller said that George has just surpassed Mark Harris as his ''favorite fag'' on the show. George said he doesn't know him though so she can't say that. The caller said he knows plenty about him and he is his favorite. Howard started to wrap up with George after that and asked him what he was wearing. George told him that he was in sweat pants without underwear on. Artie seemed to break in and ask him about his dog Le Wren Blanch who passed away since they last heard about her. George said that it was very sad when she passed on.
Howard asked George about how one of his siblings has a problem with him being gay. George said that the sibling would come and visit years ago and he hopes to recapture what they had as children. He wouldn't say if the sibling was male or female though. Howard gave George some more plugs for his play and said you can find more about that at GeorgeTakei.com.
George got off the phone as Howard was giving a wrap up of what they had just learned about him. Fred also threw in the George Takei song parodies that they played earlier in the morning. There were also some prank phone calls that they made using his audio clips. Fred also had a bunch of phony clips that they created using George's book on tape to make it sound like he was saying all kinds of gay things. Gary told Howard that Richard Christy looked like he was happy with all of the new clips he was going to be having fun with while the interview was going on. He also said that a lot of people in the office were saying that it was the best interview ever. Howard had to go to break a short time later.
Howard said that he's thinking of putting Bong Hit in this Super Fan Round Up that's airing on Howard 100 (Tonight at 7). They have Jon Hein from JumpTheShark.com, Bobo, Ralph and a couple of guys from SternFanNetwork.com who will be on tonight. (I was also asked to participate but couldn't get into the city). Eric said that some people think he's in the Wack Pack but he's really not. Howard said that he's not a wack packer, he's just a stoner.
High Pitch Eric called in and told Howard the show was great today and they should do a Gay Thursday every Thursday. He also asked if he could go out and do promotion for him when he starts promoting Eh, ehh, ehh. Howard said he would let him do that and let him go a short time later.
Another caller asked Howard who his favorite guest of all time was. Howard said that his favorite moments were never with celebrities, it was the regular people who came on. He said that Crazy Jerry and 'Gina Man were his favorites. He did his impression of Gina Man and screwed up his microphone by doing it. The caller said that Sam Kinison was his favorite. Howard said that was a good one as well. Robin said that her favorite moments were when they've had staff eruptions. Artie's favorite show was the day they did the tribute to Sam Kinison. Fred said his favorite was the Frank Stallone fight. Gary said that they'll be playing some of the listener's favorites like the day that Artie told his pig on coke story and the time they played the ''please take me back'' tape that he made.
He wondered if Tom was hitting the button on the songs he was playing. Robin wondered if Howard could play the clips from the songs instead of saying the word himself. He said maybe he could but it wouldn't be funny. He went on to talk about how he'll have his own delay button in his new studio but he won't have to use it for cursing. It's only for something that could be libelous or something like that. He had Robin start her news after that.
Artie said that he has never done that to Beth's image because it's really hard for him to do it to a woman he knows. Howard said that he can do it even better after he gets to know a chick because he can come up with a scenario easier that way. He said he's pleasured himself thinking about his friend's wives on many occasions.
Howard said he had a weird experience when he was talking to Tim Sabean the other night about the upcoming Tissue Time with Heidi Cortez show on Howard 100. He said that he was telling Tim what Heidi was going to do and Tim told him that he was getting wood as Howard was telling him about it. Howard thought that was kind of strange. Robin finished up her news and Howard ended the show around 10:55am.
Howard started off the show saying by Monday they'll have just 20 live shows left. He remembers the days when they had 9 more months left and now it's down to just 20 shows.
Howard said a few nice words about the guys who did the Super Fan Round Table on Howard 100 last night. He thought they were great and did a fabulous show. They were debating a bunch of stuff from the show like what makes a wack pack member and what he should do on his final day. Howard said it was very enlightening when he heard about what they should do on the final show. He said someone wanted a funeral while another guy said that they shouldn't have a funeral because they're not dying, they're just going to a new place. Howard and Gary talked about how great the debates were and how he'd give it a 10 rating because it went so well. He figures it'll be a once a week show from now on.
There was a discussion about whether or not Robin talks to much so Gary told Howard about that. Howard missed the discussion somehow. Gary said that the guys talked about how Robin can be one of the most viscous people on the show if she gets pissed at someone. Bobo called in and told Howard how great Jon Hein from JumpTheShark.com was as a host of the Round Table. He said he can get things done much better than Ralph can. Gary was the one who suggested him for the show and he turned out to be the right guy for the job.
Howard had some mail that he's gotten about Robin lately where people complained about how much she talks over people and interrupts guests. Howard read one of those and then took some phone calls. One guy told Howard how great the George Takei interview was yesterday. Howard said that the interview actually went pretty bleep free because he was holding back a bit.
There were discussions in the Round Table about the show being gay but most of the guys thought it wasn't ''too gay.'' Howard read an e-mail from a gay guy about the George Takei interview and he liked it. There were also people asking Howard to replay the George Takei interview. Howard was back and forth with the mail and the Super Fan Round Table. Artie asked how Mutt was on the show because he's met him at gigs and figured he'd be good. Howard said he was good and so was the guy Gay Tony.
Howard told Robin that he's going to be very busy over the next month or so and she wouldn't believe how many things he's doing. He said he'll be doing Saturday Night Live but won't be hosting. He doesn't have a date at this point though. He'll also be doing Letterman and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He doesn't plan on taking over Saturday Night Live like he did the last time he was on. Artie told Howard how tough sketch comedy is to deal with and he knows because he was on MAD TV for a couple of years. Howard has a few more shows he'll be doing that he's not announcing yet.
Howard had some audio from the Super Fan Round Table that he was going to play since they talked about what they wanted for the final show on terrestrial radio. Howard said he'd like to have some fans in on the last show and then move some of his stuff down to the new studio and talk about it on the way down there. The guy on the phone, Andy, asked if he could help carry some furniture down for him on that day. Howard said he'd keep him in mind if they actually let him do that. Howard thinks it would be pretty cool to do something like that.
Howard played some of the audio from Super Fan Round Table where the guys were talking about the final show and how they thought it should end. Bobo started off saying that it should be a roast but he was answering for the first show on Howard 100... So Jon Hein had to correct him. Bobo then said that Howard should have some fans down to the studio. Tony said that he should have some special guests on the show and maybe do something kind of crazy toward the end. Mutt said that they should do a funeral or eulogy. Ralph said that Howard will do whatever he wants and his instincts are dead on so he'll just do the right thing. Jon Hein took some phone calls during that discussion and took some suggestions from fans. Jon said that he would love to hear Gilbert Gottfried on the final show. Jon was the one who pointed out that this shouldn't be a funeral because it's not the end of the show forever. They're just moving to a new place.
Jon Hein handled the Round Table very well and kept the conversations moving along. Howard asked Robin if she thought the show went pretty well. She thought it was good because it was a bunch of nuts talking to each other. Howard said he likes the chemistry between the guys. Howard played another clip where the guys talked about Robin and if she talks too much. Gay Tony said that she doesn't talk too much and he likes the way she and Howard work together. Ralph agreed with Tony and talked about how much he misses her when she's not there. He said he'd really miss her if she wasn't on the show. He doesn't like her impressions though and said that she can be kind of evil sometimes. Bobo said she's great but Mutt said that there are plenty of times that Robin is great but there are also times when she won't shut up and talks over Howard and his guests. Jon Hein was doing a great job keeping the guys under control and kept the show moving along. A couple of phone callers thought that she was too talkative as well. There was one guy who thought she was there just so Howard could do the racial stuff on his show.
Howard said that he didn't know that Robin was black when he first got paired up with her. He doesn't keep her around just for that reason either. Howard said he really liked the Round Table and the way the show went. Artie said that he'd like to get in there because he's a fan of the show just like those guys are. Howard told Artie that he could be a guest on the show and he'll try to get him booked so he can sit in with them. Gary said that fact comes up during the Round Table and the guys point out how great it is that Artie was a fan of the show before he got on.
Ralph was drinking during the Round Table last night and the guys could hear him slurring his words. He was on the phone to talk about how the show went. Howard told him he loved the show and now he has a place for him over at the new place. Ralph said he drank maybe a whole bottle of Jagermeister during that show. He told Howard that it was a real round table and it was kind of cool when they did it. He was also talking about Bobo's weird facial hair. Ralph said that Jon should have gotten there earlier so they could have some answers ready. The guys liked Jon hosting the show and Ralph was very surprised at how well he did. He said that Jon is usually boring on the show and he turned out to be very good. Gary said that the guy is really good and knows the show very well.
Howard told Ralph that they're doing the show next week again so Ralph said he'd have to see if he could make it. Howard said if everything gels, the guys will get paid for the gig. He said that he has Sarah Silverman and Robert Downey Jr. coming in later on. They'll also be playing some old clips and packing up some of their stuff for the final days of the show. He went to break after that.
Jason came in and said it would be nice for the company to play some promos where they thank Howard for his service there. They don't mention him at all. Howard said that's where they got into trouble in the first place because the company has been putting ads out there that basically say he's irrelevant now. There has never been an ad from the company thanking him for what he's done. He said people have always said that he's good for the station but he's not all that important.
Howard said they should be bringing David Lee Roth in to replace him but doing it subtly. Artie said they can play that clip all they want because it's their company. He said they're moving on and there's no reason to be hostile toward anything the company does now. Tom Chiusano came in and said that they're well within their rights to promote that show. He also believes that they really should do a thank you to Howard. Howard told Tom that if they played one tomorrow thanking him, it would be too late. They've already missed their opportunity to thank him for the job he's done for them for the past 20 years. He thinks the fans would appreciate that more than just promoting the David Lee Roth show during every break.
Tom Chiusano was telling Howard that Double A also isn't the typical fan of the show, he's a Wack Packer. Double A said that he's just a fan of the show and wants the best for them. That led to the guys talking about what Wack Packers are and how they become one because they talked about that on the Round Table last night. The guys said that Double A could be a Wack Packer because he is kind of nutty. Double A said he doesn't care one way or the other about being a Wack Packer. He said he is a listener though. Howard asked if Tom is a Wack Packer because he gets dragged in there all the time.
Gary asked if Bobo was a Wack Packer. Howard said he's not, he's just a Super Fan. Sal the Stockbroker's name came up because he used to be a Wack Packer. Sal came in and said that he was never one. Howard told him that he is a Wack Packer because he crossed the line of wackiness. He wouldn't have been part of the whole Wack Pack Enclave thing even back in the days that he wasn't working for the show. Ralph called in and gave his opinion on the Wack Pack thing and about the David Lee Roth promos. He doesn't think the David Lee Roth stuff is a big deal.
Sal was talking about the David Lee Roth stuff and promoting Howard's move to the new place so the dump button was hit a few times on him. He was just voicing his opinion but he was also promoting the service so they dumped out of it.
In the clip Tyra said that she was able to take the fat suit off while other people aren't able to do that when they're fat. Howard said they can take it off if they diet and get some exercise. Tyra broke down and cried as she was talking about people making fun of her. She said three people turned and laughed at her and those three people were black. Artie said they probably turned and said ''Hey look! There's Tyra Banks in a fat suit.''
Howard talked about their vacation with Jimmy and Sarah and the good time they had together. Sarah would never wear a bathing suit in front of him though. He thought that was kind of weird because Sarah has a good body. Sarah was kind of self conscious about being in a bathing suit in front of Howard Stern. Howard was also surprised that Jimmy was in the shape he was in back then. Sarah told Howard that he looked good in his bathing suit too because he's actually got some muscle definition.
Sarah eventually got into a bathing suit on the last day they were there on vacation so Howard grabbed Beth and went to see her. He said she looked really good in the suit. He said he saw her recently in some pictures where she looked really hot. It was in a recent Rolling Stone magazine. Howard thought she was kind of hairy but there was no hair in the pictures he saw. Sarah wondered if they air brushed it out. She said she is pretty hairy and has to get it waxed.
Howard read that Sarah was on Zoloft for depression and wondered what that was about. Sarah said she's on the smallest dose of the stuff she can be on because she has problems with depression. Robin asked her what that's about so Sarah told her she'd get depressed just thinking about doing her laundry every week. Howard read that she's also not as horny as she used to be because of the Zoloft. Sarah said she kind of needed that anyway.
Howard said that he's getting kind of freaked out that he won't be allowed to use his old tapes after Sarah told him about a great show she remembered from years ago. Howard said he doesn't get why the company won't turn them over to him because he really is bummed out about it. Howard told the fans that they should go on vacation with Sarah if they have the chance. He said that she was really cute when he saw her sleeping at one point during the vacation. He also said that he thinks it's hot that she used to wet the bed.
Howard was telling a story about having sex with Beth but the delay was hit so many times that it was impossible to follow. Howard eventually moved on to some other stuff and found out that Sarah was at Jimmy Kimmel's house so he was asking her what he was wearing and what she was wearing. They were both in boxer shorts and Sarah was wearing a tank top. Howard wanted to have some fun with her and Jimmy. He asked her to bring the phone into the bedroom and start doing stuff to Jimmy while they listen in. Sarah said that Jimmy doesn't get to sleep that much and she didn't want to do that. Howard said that Jimmy would think that's funny though and she should do it. She said ''alright'' at one point but then backed out of it. Howard kept pushing her to do it but she was very hesitant. She really didn't want to wake him up.
Howard told Sarah that if she did that, people would actually watch Jimmy's show tonight. She still wasn't doing it so Howard gave her some plugs for this movie ''Jesus is Magic'' which she's starring in. The movie opens today. Howard said he's sorry she wasn't there in the studio live today. She felt the same way. Howard asked her to go into the bedroom and just suck Jimmy's toes. She wouldn't do it so he let her go a short time later.
Howard talked about Sarah's pot brownie eating and how crazy he thought that was. He said that between that and the Zoloft, you don't know who you're dealing with. He figures that Jimmy is going to be upset that Sarah didn't mess with him like Howard asked her to.
Howard asked Robert if he's miserable now that he can't smoke pot and use drugs like he used to. Robert changed subjects and said that he had a bad experience with the security guy downstairs at the building Howard works in. Howard thought it was Ronnie the Limo Driver but Robert said it wasn't him. Howard asked Robert about this one time he ran down the street in a Wonder Woman outfit or something. Robert said it didn't quite happen that way but didn't give all of the details.
Howard asked Robert about his use of black tar heroin and Robert said that wasn't true either. Howard said if he were him and had to deal with kids all day long, he'd probably do the same thing. Robert corrected him and said he only had one kid, not ''kids.'' Howard asked him how he was able to score his drugs and if he thinks drugs should be legalized. Howard said he thinks they should. Robert said that some of the stuff is super dangerous and maybe they shouldn't legalize it.
Howard talked about how he defended Robert and said that he shouldn't have been jailed for his drug abuse. If he wanted to get himself clean, he could have gone to rehab on his own. Gary came in and said he had the news story about Robert and how the cops were called to his room that day. Howard wondered who would have ratted out Robert back then. Robert said it doesn't matter who ratted him out because that's what people are supposed to do when they see someone in trouble like that.
Howard told Robert that he always stays within the law the best he can because he doesn't think he'd last a day in jail. Robert said you don't have to do anything wrong to go to jail though and people can set you up. Howard asked Robert how bad it was in jail and if it was his worst nightmare ever. Robert said it was pretty tough but they kept him away from the really hard core prisons. Howard asked him if he had to fight anyone while he was there. Robert said he did and he actually won. Howard begged not to be sent to prison... ever, when he heard that.
Robert tried to get Howard to talk about the movie he was there to promote. Howard said he was fascinated by the whole jail thing though and told him he'd get to the movie later. He asked him more about the jail time and the fight he had. Robert said that he had to fight a guy for phone time and the guy was about his size but he had done maybe 3 million push-ups. Howard promised Robert that he would get to his movie but he thought this stuff was fascinating. Robert told Howard how he had to go in and just start fighting without giving him warning. He said that he initiated the fight himself and had to do that to get his phone time. Robert said there were guys there who told him he had to take care of the guy who had dissed him or they wouldn't respect him and they'd beat the crap out of him instead.
Robert told Howard that he was in jail for 16 months. Artie said he was in L.A. County Jail for 5 days when he was arrested. He said he was ready to get out of there after the 5 days. Robert said that 5 days in there is pretty tough. He kind of goofed on Artie about how he was locked down for almost 120 hours. Howard asked Robert if he was embarrassed to let other guys see his wiener. Robert said that wasn't really on his mind at the time. Howard wondered if he was able to read books and stuff while he was in there. He said his time could be used pretty well for stuff like that but he wouldn't wish it upon his worst enemy. Howard told Robert that their friend Cabbie was in prison and has 9 more months left in there.
Howard got to the movie that Robert was there to promote. He asked him what it was like working with Val Kilmer since he had to kiss him in the movie. Robert said he was great to work with and he wasn't a kook like Howard thought he was. He said he just has that reputation. Howard thought he was kind of annoying Robert by asking him so much about the jail time stuff. Robert said he wasn't annoyed but it would have been nice if everyone had watched the movie since they did send it over for them. He said they could have talked about other things if they had seen the movie.
Howard said he's met Robert's wife and she's very beautiful. He asked him if he's getting laid a lot but he was looking kind of bummed out. Robert said that he is kind of bummed out because Howard hadn't seen the movie ''Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang'' which he was there to plug. Robin tried to talk to him about one of his movies but Howard said that they're not the right ones to talk about movies. Howard wanted to talk to him about sleeping with Sarah Jessica Parker instead. Robert told him that they were together when they were kids so it was a long time ago. He said she was pretty good back then. Howard told Robert that he really should write a book about all of this stuff.
Robert brought up Kelly LeBrock and told Howard that she may have been attracted to Sarah but he claims he just told Howard that to get a reaction out of him. Howard gave him another plug for his movie and said he was very glad that he came in today. Robert gave the guys a run down about what the movie was about since they hadn't seen it. He wasn't exactly ''selling it'' the way he was describing it though. Howard wrapped up with him a short time later and told him to come back and see them sometime soon, not in another 20 years. He gave him another plug for the movie and went to break a short time later.
Howard played a clip of Pat Robertson talking about a town that voted god out of their city and how they shouldn't ask for his help if a natural disaster strikes their town. He said it's the Idiotic statement of the week because it's such a ridiculous statement. He said they sound like the taliban when they talk like that.
Howard said that he's heard that a few of his stations have been playing pig snorting sounds over his show. They got to the bottom of it and found that it was a national contest the company was holding that they didn't know about. They've asked the stations not to do that anymore so people should stop hearing the pig stuff from now on.
Howard read an article about how his name is the most searched term on the web for radio guys. He also read an article from PhillyBurbs.com where they talked about the Top 5 Wack Packers from the show. They listed them as:
Howard spent a few minutes talking about the Governor Schwarzenegger for a short time and ended up playing a Jack and Rod Show that Sal and Richard did with a guest by the name of Michael McGowan and the Fake Arnold Scwarzenegger that Howard has on the show quite often. Fake Arnold was saying really crazy things about terrorists and ended up getting McGowan to hang up on them. That's another bit they won't be taking with them to the new place since it was produced there at K-Rock.
Howard and the guys talked about how they're not going to be allowed to use the old tapes when they move to the new place. They discussed that on the Round Table last night and the guys had some good points during the show. Howard talked about how he really wasn't in a position to demand ownership of those tapes when he signed on to the radio show.
Ralph called in and asked Howard about how he didn't get ownership of his old tapes after screwing it up with WNBC. Howard said he actually lucked out that he even got co-ownership with Infinity when most guys wouldn't even get that much. Ralph said that he would want to own his own tapes if that was his show. Howard does own the rights to the E! shows and those are just the radio shows recorded on video so he can play those. Gary said that was kind of surprising to him that he made that happen.
Ralph told Howard that he's got to stop with these marginal guests like Robert Downey Jr in these final weeks of the show. Howard wondered if they should have avoided talking to George Takei. Ralph said that they should be sticking to the guests they know already. Howard told Ralph that Robert looked like he would be a great guest because of what he's been through. Ralph said he turned off the show and turned on ''Smallville'' instead. Gary thought the interview was great though and that Robert was a good guest.
Fred was trying to make a point but Ralph talked over him. He eventually said that Downey probably expected them to treat him like a star but that won't happen there. Howard had taken a call from a guy whose phone was making noise so Fred gave up and stopped talking. Howard tried to talk to that guy and found out he was out fishing and asked why Ralph has to be on so much. Howard talked about how Ralph probably won't last on the Round Table show. Jason said that before the show he was giving everyone a problem with the topics they were going to talk about.
Robin said that there are people who want to reminisce and talk about the past guests and stuff like that. Howard said that they've got a lot of old clips that they need to play and having guests in takes away from that. He said that he couldn't pass on Robert Downey Jr. Though. He said he has people like Alanis Morissette, Drea de Matteo and Billy Gibbons scheduled to come in but not many others. He said that if they get a call from a Julia Roberts though, they may have to book someone like that.
Howard said he plans on holding a little party for some fans of the show on the final day there. Gary said that they've already gone around and interviewed some of the people there at the station who will come in to say goodbye. Dominic Barbara called in and said he should absolutely be there. He said he's been with the show for 20 years and has done many things with them. Howard told him that he probably shouldn't be on the show but someone like Joey Buttafuoco should. Howard took a vote again and everyone was voting ''No'' to have Dominic on the final shows.
Gary said that KC Armstrong is one person who will be stopping by to say goodbye to them. He said that Jackie the Joke Man was in discussions to come back in but he's calling that off. Stuttering John will probably call in to say goodbye and even Steve Grillo might come in. Howard wasn't sure that he may not be that great but agreed to let him come in. AJ Benza is another guy who could come in over the next few weeks.
Robin asked about Billy West coming back in but Howard told her that he sounds kind of bitter. They played a clip of him on Howard 100 News last night and he sounds like he's upset about leaving the show after they wouldn't pay him very well. Gary said he got the feeling that Billy thinks that Howard had something to do with them not paying him. Howard said he was very upset when Billy left the show and he didn't want him to leave. Howard said he was told by Billy that he was leaving after he couldn't work out better pay with the company.
Gary said that Jackie has been going back and forth with his thoughts of coming back on the show but it's not easy. He said that Jackie was thinking about doing it so Gary asked him for a date. He wouldn't commit to a date though so Gary has basically given up. Howard was supposed to have dinner with Jackie on Saturday night but things didn't work out for some reason. Gary said that Jackie told him that if he did come back, it would be ''like walking into Africa naked'' but no one could figure out what that meant.
Howard and the guys talked about how they're going to be losing a lot of stuff when they move to the new place but Howard reminded them that he does own the E! shows so all is not lost. Gary thought they were going to lose all of the Stuttering John and Gary Garver interviews but they have a lot of them on tape for the E! shows. They went to commercial a short time later.
Howard had mike get to his game so here's how it goes... Each week Mike Walker calls in with four gossip stories. Three of the stories are from his National Enquirer gossip column. One of the stories is false. Everyone tries to pick out the false story. The stories will appear in Mike's gossip column each week after he plays with Howard. Here are this week's stories:
Howard said they had this 15 year old kid Alex sitting in the studio today. Alex is the son of their General Sales Manager. Howard asked the kid a few questions about getting girls and if he's getting laid yet. Alex said he's gotten to second base but that's about it. Howard told Alex about how he had a cut off age for getting laid when he was his age. Alex said his cut off age is probably about 17. Robin wondered if he had a condom in his wallet.
Alex said he didn't have one. Alex said that he's a huge fan of the show and listens to it every day. Howard asked him what he would buy with $500. He said ''probably an Eh, ehh, ehh'' (SIRIUS radio) which was pretty funny coming from the General Sales Manager's son.
Artie said he had eaten too fast and didn't think that the sausage was cooked fully. He said the muffin he had earlier was kind of coming up on him because of that. Howard said that Artie has been packing away the food lately. Artie has been eating these bran muffins but he's thinking they can't be good for him because they taste too good.
Howard read an article about Russell Crowe's band and how they will play at events for a mere $900,000. Howard said the guy has no shame. He had Robin start her news right after that. After a short newscast Howard took a call from a guy who was suffering from terminal cancer and gave him a $500 prize before ending the show around 10:20am.
