Howard also spoke to Lenny's drummer Cindy for a little bit. He's blown away by her drumming. He asked Lenny if he ever bangs Cindy. Lenny said that the good thing about being friends is that they can share things like that. Lenny asked Howard if he's ever had a black girlfriend and Howard replied ''Look at me!'' and told Lenny to come to his own conclusions.
Lenny and the band also performed on of Howard's favorite songs ''Let Love Rule''. Once again, they sounded great. Howard and Robin commented that the band sounded very tight. Howard said they were ''as tight as a 10 year old''.
Lenny asked Howard how old he was today. Howard told him he's 47 and asked Lenny what his guess would have been. Lenny said he was figuring 53. Cindy told him she would have guessed 35 or so.
Howard took a couple of phone calls for Lenny before he performed his last song. One guy said that he thought the songs they performed were studio cuts because they sounded so tight.
Howard was handed a note that said Lenny would also perform ''Again'' from his ''Greatest Hits'' album. Lenny said he wasn't prepared to do that. The record company people are the ones who said he'd do it. He then adjusted his guitar settings and went ahead and performed the song anyway. Once again, great performance even though he wasn't set up to do it. Howard then wrapped up the interview and let everyone know that all of these songs are available on Lenny's ''Greatest Hits'' album.
Gary came in and reminded Howard that he had a similar problem about a year ago. He thought he was farting but ended up having an accident in his underwear while he was at work. He was lucky because he had an extra pair of underwear in the gym bag he'd brought to work. Gary and Howard shared stories they've heard about others who have had these awful accidents.
Howard had notes on Eddie's interesting life so he went over some of the more interesting parts. He said that at the age of 15 Eddie and a friend of his opened their own dance studio. He said he'd stretch out dance lessons that should take one session for weeks so he could make the big bucks. He said he was rolling in money back then. Howard wanted to learn some dance moves that he can use at clubs when he goes out so Eddie taught him one simple one. Robin said when Howard did the move it looked like he was trying to fly. It wasn't working for him so he gave up. Eddie told him he'd need another 20 lessons.
By the age of 16 Eddie was married to his high school sweetheart. That's the same year he met his father who was never around. He ended up punching him in the face because his grandmother once told him to do that the first time he saw him. The two of them later made up and became good friends. His father has since passed away. Eddie told Howard that when he was first getting to know his father he'd light off firecrackers near him to freak him out. His father was a Vietnam vet so it would really freak him out and he'd go diving over the porch railing.
Eddie was kicked out of his house when he was young so he ended up living with his uncle Bucky. Eddie said his uncle got him under control.
Eddie had a son by the age of 17 and by 19 he was arrested for fighting at a St. Patrick's Day parade. Eddie spent 6 months in jail because he couldn't get bail money. When he got out of jail he became a choreographer for a dance troupe that performed for the Kansas City Chiefs. He and his cousin once went to a comedy club and his cousin dared him to go up and do a 3 minute routine. He'd never had any experience but he ended up doing 45 minutes of material. He said he just talked about stuff that happened in his life. He later became a stand-up comic.
Howard also read that Eddie's cousin is Prince. Eddie said that's what his mother told him but he's never tried to find out if that's true or not. He did meet Prince one time but he didn't bring that up.
Howard took a bunch of phone calls for Eddie. Big Black was one of the callers and he was really kissing Eddie's ass. He said that he's one of the funniest comedians out there today. There were a few other callers who bad mouthed Eddie and a couple who said good things about him.
Howard said he heard that Geoffrey and Mel Gibson lived together for a while one time. Geoffrey said that they did a play together and did live together for a short time. Howard guesses that they had a lot of women back then. Geoffrey just laughed when he said that.
Howard told Geoffrey that it was an honor to have him on the show and thanked him for calling in.
Fred didn't know why he went back to the Barbra Streisand question. He thought he might get it if he heard it again but it didn't come to him.
Later in the show Gary came in and said that a bunch of people told him that because Cabbie is an employee of the station, he can't win the money. The rules said that no employees are eligible to win so he might be out of luck. Howard wanted them to give it to him anyway but they may have to wait until tomorrow when Tom gets back to find out. Cabbie said that's the story of his life. He won but then they yanked it back from him. Scott the engineer came in and congratulated Cabbie on being a bigger loser than him. Howard said that Cabbie deserves it and he'll fight for him to get it.
Howard took some phone calls from people and they all wanted to know if he's gay or something. It sounds that way when he talks about how dirty a woman's private parts are but he swears he's not.
Big Black called in with tape of Gary talking dirty to women from his web site. Gary said that was scripted so it's not really how he talks to women. Howard thought it sounded pretty good though.
