The following story was submitted by a fan of The Howard Stern Show who wanted to share their ''Brush with Greatness'' with others.

My cousin was a publicist for Channel 9 when Howard's infamous show was on the air. She knew what a huge fan I am so she called me up one day and asked if I would like to go see a taping of a show. I was thrilled...until I found out it was a taping the Jackie Martling show that was on the air after Howard's show (does anyone even remember it? I think it was called "Live from the Green St Cafe") Anyway I it was at a little club in SoHo and I sat at a table right in front of the stage. Jackie did his lame rapid fire jokes and then he brought ''comedians'' up. One was that queer Mario Cantone. He brought me up on stage to play some stupid game with Jackie and these lame puppets he had.
I was goofing on Jackie's beer breath and bloodshot eyes and they had to tell me to stop so that they could tape the segment. I think they were mad because I was funnier than both of them!
This is really a brush before greatness. I grew up in Jersey City and used to see Lester AKA Beetlejuice all the time in bars on the street. I just had to mention this because there is no way that you can even imagine how small his head is without seeing it in person!!! It is literally the size of a softball!!! I saw him over the summer at a local Feast and he is a star!! He was handing out cards to all the ladies and yelling the now famous ''I'm Beetlejuice Baby!!''
